  1. Erie has now been split into 2 zones - Erie East and Erie West. This hotel is in Erie West. I bid $48 and was given a counter offer to $58. Rebid $50 and added Erie East - accepted. 3* hotel showed: Indoor or outdoor pool Fitness Center Free Parking Free Internet Free Breakfast Business Center Guest rating 8+ Sorry, I forgot to use the link
  2. Thanks for posting. I've tried up to $90 for Nov 22 with no luck, even though the rate at Marriott.com is $129 for Nov 16 and Nov 22. Maybe they lower the prices at the last minute or for weekends
  3. First bid marriott.com rate is $111 I didn't think that I would win since so many Canadians are heading to Grove City over Columbus Day/Canadian Thanksgiving weekend so I didn't use the link. Sorry about that. I will use the link next time regardless of how low my bid is.
  4. Most winning bids are on the weekend for around $42. Rates seem to be a higher during the week (Tuesday night in my case) so I am happy with $60 Bid $59, rejected. Added a rebid zone and bid $60 - accepted SPG.com prepaid rate was $120 I used the PRICELINE link
  5. Nice price for this hotel. SPG.com price was $79 Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access I used the link
  6. I've been looking for a few days now and this hotel just showed up today I was pretty sure that I would win this hotel since it's the only 3* that lists a restaurant. The only part that threw me off was that it said there were 500+ reviews - which is not even close since this is a pretty new hotel. Hyatt.com rate is $151 Right after I booked this, it is no longer available on Hotwire any more. Smoke Free Rooms Airport Shuttle Complimentary Breakfast Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities High-speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Reviews 100% recommended Trip Advisor 4.0/5 Based on 500+ reviews ??? I used the link
  7. Thanks, Another hotel that I am looking at is: North Fort Lauderdale area 2.5* $61 Complimentary Breakfast Fitness Center Pool(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access 95%of Hotwire reviews recommend 50+ total reviews 4.0 out of 5.0 on tripadvisor My guess is Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale - Cypress Creek?
  8. Looking at a 2.5* in Weston Plantation Davie (Ft Lauderdale) March 13 for $74 Complimentary Breakfast Pool(s) High-Speed Internet Access Kitchenette 95% of Hotwire reviews recommend 3.5 out of 5 on tripadvisor with 40+ reviews My guess is Vacation Village at Bonaventure but I don't see this property on the list http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g3...on_Florida.html
  9. A new hotel for the list. I thought I was going to win the Springhill Suites Hyatt Summerfield Suites Ft Lauderdale Airport South 90 SouthWest 18th Avenue, Dania Beach, FL, 33004 Phone:(954) 922-0271 Suite Airport Shuttle Smoke Free Rooms Complimentary Breakfast Fitness Center Pool(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Golf Nearby The Golf icon did not appear on the front page but it is showing up in my booking It looks like the amenities are pretty much the same as the Springhill Suites Sorry, I forgot to use the HOTWIRE link on this one
  10. Thanks to batman71 for his bid info. I bid $37 and was rejected. Added a free rebid zone, bid $39 and was accepted. This hotel is in the Beachwood zone and is not currently on the list. It is not the same hotel as the Residence Inn Independence at 5101 West Creek Road Residence Inn Cleveland Beachwood 3 Star Beachwood 3628 Park East Drive Beachwood, Ohio 44122 216-831-3030 marriott.com rate is $119 I used the PRICELINE link
  11. I haven't seen the Westin posted in a while and I was hoping to win the Hyatt Bid $59, counter offer of $74 Added free rebid zone and bid $61 and was accepted at the Westin SFO Westin.com shows $189 Sorry, forgot to use the PRICELINE link this time
  12. Bid $62 rejected added free rebid zone and bid $63 - accepted! used the PRICELINE link
  13. Thanks, I called the hotel and they do have breakfast so I think your guess is correct. However, Hotwire say 500+ reviews but tripadvisor only has 96 reviews for this hotel. Is this typical?
  14. I am looking at a 3* in San Francisco (Airport South - Burlingame) with the following amenities: Shuttle,Complimentary Breakfast,Fitness Center,Pool,Restaurant,Business Center Recommended in 55% of customer reviewers 500+ total reviews I was thinking Holiday Inn Express but it has nowhere near 500 reviews and the amenities don't exactly match any ideas?
  15. This is a busy week in Tampa since it's Spring Break. I think you'll have a tough time getting a 4* for cheap, especially since the Intercontinental, Renaissance, and Hyatt are now all over $200 for your dates
  16. I've bid up to $100 for mid march without any luck even though the rate at marriott.com is $159 (same as your date). Maybe they haven't released any inventory? You still have lots of time so I'd wait until the date gets closer
  17. The Plantation zone has been split into 2. I'm curious - was this in the West Ft Lauderdale - Plantation OR West Ft Lauderdale - Sawgrass Mills zone There is a 4* in each zone so I'm assuming that Hyatt is in one zone and Renaissance is in the other
  18. It looks like the hotel will become Indigo on March 18 - right in the middle of your reservation. "The Hotel Indigo Miami South Beach is now accepting reservations for arrivals after March 18, 2010."
  19. FYI, I believe there is a $20 per night per room resort fee for this property: Hyatt Grand Cypress Resort Fee
  20. There's a 4* on Hotwire for $84 on Feb 28 which is likely the Intercontinental. More than likely, it will be less than $84 on Priceline
  21. You cannot check this with PRICELINE. However, if you are bidding in a zone/star rating where all of the hotels have free parking, you would be fine
  22. The Hyatt Grand Cypress is in the resort category, not the 3.5*. You cannot guarantee a hotel with PRICELINE. Take a look at the hotel list to see a list of resort properties in the Orlando (Lake Buena Vista - Downtown Disney) zone
  23. Thanks for posting. This hotel is brand new - just opened on Feb 1. I'm surprised to see it's already offering Priceline rooms!
  24. The Costco (cancellable AWD A108364) rate is $204.26 all in for a full size and 177.40 for a midsize on your dates How much was your rate including taxes,...
