Thanks for responding!! 😀 - It's good to see the site is still active! Thanks for the info on the NYOP bidding - I didn't realize it had stopped!! I made a mistake on the arrival day, We were thinking of leaving this Wed 1/12 for the 3 nights, but the pricing jumped almost 100.00 on some of the places I was watching using the new tools you have implemented. That being said, I have flexibility on when we can go, so leaving on Sunday 1/16 or even Monday the 17th is not doable to get better pricing!!
We have not traveled much so I'm "comfortable" on a budget of $200.00 p/n to get a really nice beautiful stay! I do have to keep in mind that some of these resorts have an added fee p/n resort fee, the Embarc Palm Desert included, but it does look really nice!! 😀

ALWAYS had great info help in the past, but haven't really travelled much since the "rona" happened - Looking to try to hit up Palm Desert CA 1/15/2022 for 3 nights. Ok...I tried it thru the Biddinghelper.com HOTWIRE tab....it went thru...although I'm not sure it was the same offer as the HOTWIRE easy view choice....that one kept saying "the last person got the Forest Villas Hotel"...this one ended up being the La Quinta Prescott Valley...kind of really needed it to be in Prescott...

It comes up on the screen with the 4 options...this one is under Hotwire easy view...the error message comes up when I try & do the purchase...AFTER putting in my c/card etc....Ive tried all ways...using my paypal, putting in a c/card, shutting everything down & closing all the screens & starting over....did it 2 hours ago...got the error message.....just tried everything again...same error message...:(

Ive been researching wins on this site for Back Bay - Copley Sq...
I think maybe I have it narrowed down to:
Amenities match Westin Copley Place?? That would be great!!
But alot of people seem to be winning the Sheraton Back Bay, but they have a pool but it recently closed for renovation...reviews not as good for the Sheraton...apparently there are 2 towers...one renovated...one not...scary.....how accurate is the "rated exceptional 9.0+" Priceline Express says, & would they have updated amenities listed & removed the pool?
Maybe hold off on identifying these two choices? I just posted in Massachusetts about trying to identify 3 hotels...prices there just did a huge turn for the best after much research for the past week!! Hopefully someone can help identify them!!

we would probably want to shoot for a max 150..maybe a little more if it's a must do hotel...hubby wants me to do a little more research on the area to make sure there's stuff to do besides eat !! I am sure there is but being early November the choices probably get to be fewer and he loves museums but I do not so we would have to find a happy medium on other activities!!

I am in "research" mode to a possible last minute trip to Chicago (10/31 - 11/4) - We would be 1st time visitors - Southwest air has deals flying into Midway & we would be relying on no car/public transportation to get around & would want a good base area to stay at to explore the area - seeing some great pricing on 4 - 4.5* hotels on HOTWIRE in zones like Mccormick Place/South Loop, River North, Magnificent Mile/water tower - or PRICELINE EXPRESS zones M/Mile/Gold coast, Downtown/Millenium Pk, Downtown River North or I could try bidding on a win thru PRICELINE working with free rebid zones....
Before I proceed farther, any thoughts on if flying into Midway works with this game plan, & if so, which zones would be the best to look into staying?
After MUCH thought , we have decided not to jump onto the "deal" for now (it was still there last night) - We really want to stay 3 nights when we go, & its "pricey" - along with business travelers, there are quite a few street food festivals going on in this time frame, so its a super busy time! We will just perhaps look last minute if prices change, or just go somewhere else on a whim!! A HUGE thank you though for the heads up on the the new Crowne Plaza hotel!! We will look into doing this trip at a later date, & now have 2 hotels to keep in mind that will be nice....

Agree with logistics on why prices more expensive - The Crowne looks great, we are going to "mull" it over for now, mostly because we really wanted to stay 3 nights, but it bumps up the price alot!! Looking for hotel help for 2 - 3 nights anytime within 10/22 - 10/28 - On vacation that week & would like to surprise my aunt with a visit. Last year we scored on the EVEN hotel for a wedding July 3rd for approx 150.00 p/n. I see pricing during our time frame this year is much higher. Can anyone recommend a hotel in this general area that they see on HOTWIRE etc....that they would stay at? We are very flexible, but of course LOVED the EVEN hotel & would like to try & stay anywhere with good pricing "with a comparable quality" ....I am not a huge city gal & know finding somewhere in NYC thats nice is not easy...lol
Of course ideally I like the 150.00 p/n price we scored last time, but I'm getting the feeling thats not going to happen in our dates this year, so I could go higher if we had to, but not over 200.00 (ugh!!) p/n ...if it helps, I believe she lives near cross streets of 8TH & W 28TH & very near Penn station

Thank you for the reply! We talked it over & hubby decided he didnt want to risk it, although I agree it was most likely Prince Waikiki! The room choices were all harbor view, & for just a little more we could make a refundable reservation for an oceanfront king, so we will keep an eye on that option.
