  1. I want a 4* hotel in the Midtown area on Oct. 11th for around $100 or so. I have already bid $90 in MTE MTW rejected, then $95 rejected. Then I read where someone got the Mariot Marqui (sp) for $111 so I upped my bid to $111 and still got rejected. What do I do now? I could try $120 but I thought I would do better than that.
  2. I started bidding at $90, then $95, then $111 for Oct. 11th. After waiting a long time, I was rejected all three times. I have another bid but I dont want to go much higher. PS. Where can I find the bidding help form?
  3. In NYC I bid $95 for MTW MTE CPS and it took too long for a result. I stopped it and checked my status. It was rejected, but why did it keep going on and on for so long? It never stopped.
  4. Hi Super, I am not a frequent patron of NYC hotels, but I thought the room at the Westin was very spacious even with the King size bed, and our bathroom had plenty of space. I loved the fact that the window opened for fresh air. The only problem I had was with the coffee maker. It didnt drip down so all the water collected in the coffee compartment. It could have been quite a mess but they had a tray underneath it in case of an accident. I didnt touch anything in the fridge because it was all too expensive. Lady Reeler P.S. I cant wait to do it again with PL.
  5. I havent seen any hotels in the Islamorada area. I would like to spend 3 nights in Key West and then 4 nights in Islamorada this November. I do not want Key Largo, but you cant separate it from Islamorada. Any suggestions?
  6. One thing I forgot to mention which I really really apreciated was that the large windows in the room opened just enough to get fresh air in the room. That is something you dont see too much anymore. Fresh air is very important to me and I enjoyed hearing the sounds of the city.
  7. I saw a 3.5* hotel in Key West listed for $69. My dates were 10/11/03 to 10/14/03. It showed beach front, pool, resturant, and spa. This sounds pretty good to me. What do you think?
  8. Hi, Does Priceline have any hotels of any catagory on Islamorada or Marathon? If so which ones and what catagory?
  9. Just returned from my stay at the Westin NY Times Square. It is a lovely hotel and everyone was friendly and helpfull. I requested and got a room with a view on the 20th floor. It has a very modern decor, which is fine. The room was large and comfortable. The king size "Heavenly Bed" was just that, Heavenly! The bathroom was large and clean with plenty of hot water and water pressure. The hairdryer had plenty of power. The location at 43rd and 8th was perfect for my show on 44th street. I would definately recomend this hotel and I would love to stay there again in the future.
  10. Phaleon, Thanks for the feedback. I am very excited about landing this hotel. It looks VERY nice. I have heard very good things about this property. I am going to the Helen Hayes theater on 44th st so the location couldnt be better. I will post a review when I get back.
  11. I did not really care as long as it was near the Theater district. My date is March 29th, weekend after next. Thank you for looking this up for me.
  12. My bid was $95, the tax was $12.32, the fee was $5.95 bringing the total to $113.27. I had added the MTW and upped to $95 to land this bid. I am a Newbie so I am happy with this price. It looks like a very nice property.
  13. My first time using Priceline. After getting rejected for $75 in Midtown NYC I upped my bid to $95 for Midtown West and got the Westin NY Times Square on 43rd and 8th. Do you think I did good?
