I was asked if the confirmation page of my trip had any additional amenities and it did. Resort, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-speed Internet Access, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Spa Services, Children's Activity Program However when I booked the hotel only the amenities listed in the original post were listed Happy Hotwiring!

Did end up using the $91 a night on hotwire for almost certainly the Hilton. They have posted on their web-site pool closed for renovations. I did however win the Hyatt McCormick place through Priceline for $98 a night. Check under the Illinois-Priceline board for the details of the post.

This was a pretty sweet win as there are 7 co-located conventions happing at McCormick. Probably could have gotten for less, but 6 co-workers are paying $269 a night so no complaints. There are currently two 4* hotels listed for this area with the same amenitites, Hyatt & Hilton. The current listing on HW is now missing one of the amenities. Amazingly I got this $20 full-size after a $14 bid on a Compact, $15 bid on mid-size and $16 bid on standard. The key is watching those taxes and fees. The full size at $20 is only $2 more(actual total) than my $16 bid on the standard. Sorry forgot to post this win earlier. I booked it the night before as my itinerary was a little up in the air. Can let you know that it's a nice little hotel. For all you Buzztime trivia maniacs it has a Damon's in the parking lot (though I heard Damon's is going out of business). It's also only a $5 cab ride to the main campus. I highly recommend staying away from the cheese omletes at the breakfast buffet. The cheese is a lower grade than Cheese-Wiz (if possible). Everything else was as expected. Day One started at $16 for a mid-size, $17- standard, $20 full-size (all rejected) Day Two started at $20 for a mid-size and was asked to raise price and could try again immediately. Decided not to as Payless Car rental was advertising a Mid-size for $23 a day and when I factored in the PL taxes and fees $20 was the break even on the listed retail price. Instead went $25 on a full-size and was aksed again to re-bid immediately. This time I did and won at $27. Very happy as the best retail price I could find was $37 a day for full-size. I had already booked through HOTWIRE from 3/29-4/1 for $63 a night and got the MGM, but really wanted to check out on 4/2. At the time of the original booking (2/27) when I added the extra night the 4* hotels listing went away. So I booked it, less the night from 4/1-4/2 thinking I will go back at a later date and see what I could get. Even if it was the NYNY I was ok with that. So today's the day and lucky me I got the MGM for the extra night at $75 this time. Still a big savings as there are several conventions in town that week and the MGM site wants $110. Hate it when that happens and yes I was aiming for the MGM. I did check the MGM site before I booked and at that time it was $79 a night fot those particular dates. However when I looked at the site I really wanted to stay until 4/2, but there are several conventions in town that week and MGM wanted (and still wants) $110 for that night. With that being said I've just successfully booked that additional night at $75 through HOTWIRE at the MGM so I'm pretty happy. Thanks for looking out.

In a post a few down from this one it was reported that the amenities are missing Spa. This is somewhat correct. On the booking page before you know the hotel, Spa is not listed. On the confirmation page it lists Spa.
