Original bid of $95.00 for 4* in downtown Charlotte was denied. Priceline responded that I could immediately up my bid by $30.00 to $125.00. I closed the tab on my browser but then immediately reopened Priceline and made a bid for $105.00 (although that's before tax) and it was accepted to Le Meridien on Friday night, March 11, 2016.

Yellowdog: I am sort of a newbie. I'd like to be able to snag the same deal (Blackstone Rennaisance) as SHMichelson has for the same weekend. Reflecting SHMichelson's success I tried to replicate....$57.00 for 4 star. No luck, two days later (today) I tried same thing at $60.00. Still no luck. Then, I noticed your comment about it being 3.5* with an upgrade. Do you think I'd get the same deal if I exactly replicated SHMIchelson's move...3.5* @ $57.00? I have a second question. We are going to Chicago the weekend of 2/26 with our teenaged daughters. They want to stay at cousin's house on Friday night and at hotel on Saturday night. My wife and I would stay at hotel both nights. Is there a way to bid for first night only one room and second night with two rooms? My fear is that if we succeed with one room on Friday night and then do a second bid for 2 rooms on Saturday night we may end up at a different hotel on Saturday night and that wouldn't be good. But I couldn't figure out how to set it up on Priceline bid. Any comments? Thanks, Ken K
