  1. The hotel ended up being Hilton Financial District :) :) - despite not having the spa amentity listed I stayed there twice in the past (Priceline) and absolutely hated the place - this is certainly my least favorite hotel in San Francisco. Since its only a 1 night stay, might end up booking something else instead - really don't want to go back to that Hilton.
  2. Here are the amenities: High-speed Internet Access Fitness Restaurant Business Center This looks like it could be a Hyatt Regency or an OMNI, but it is not listed as a customer favorite. Any ideas what hotel this could be?
  3. Check-In Date: Thu, Sep 23, 2004 Check-Out Date: Sat, Sep 25, 2004 Hotel Name: Courtyard by Marriott Toronto Downtown Your Offer Price: $50.00 (US dollars) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 2 Subtotal: $100.00 (US dollars) Taxes & Service Fees: $16.10 (US dollars) Total Charges: $116.10 (US dollars) I first bid $45 for a 3*, that was declined and I received a counter offer offering me to raise the bid by $13 . Instead, I just rebid with $50, which was accepted.
  4. Thank you for the reply. I placed a bid on Priceline and was able to get both nights for about $100. I posted a separate thread on the PL forum about it.
  5. Should have mentioned that :) . 9/23-25 , Downtown Toronto
  6. Any ideas on what this hotel is: Downtown Toronto - 3.5 stars Selected amenities include: Boutique Hotel, Complimentary Breakfast, High-Speed Internet Access.
  7. Weird. I won this hotel on PL once and PL considers it to be a 2*. Why such discrepancy between PL and Hotwire.
  8. Consider a lower number of stars. Many of 2* hotel in NYC are not that bad at all.
  9. I stayed at a 2* Milford Plaza recently and absolutely loved it. Perfect location and a very good hotel. The only complaint is that they charge $3 to store your bag if you have to check out in the morning and your flight out is in the evening. Still, not a big deal considering the savings.
  10. Midtown West 270 West 45th Street New York, New York 10036 212-869-3600 Forgot to add the dates: 5/8 - 5/9 2004 Your Offer Price: $76.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $76.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $17.48 Total Charges: $93.48 Started with a 3 star at 90, then lowered to a 2.5 star at 85 then 2 star at 76. Looking at Gleff's post, I am a little disappointed I haven't checked out this board first (normally I do) . Anyway, a weekend hotel in NYC for a 2-digit number is pretty good :)
