  1. Ive given up. I have tried about 50 times for Full, Prem, Lux, SUV, and Minvivan all the way up to 35 per day, but no success. I am sticking with my Budget rental as it is cheaper and I can use my fastbreak. First time PRICELINE has not come through for me Nick
  2. Yes I am a Costco member, but never know how to use thier discounts. Is thier a really good discount being a costco member? Nick
  3. Bid $65 and as I expected, received Calgary Marriott Downtown. Used the BB PRICELINE link to start bidding. Bid about 2 months ago and forgot to post my result. Very happy with hotel given as the reviews are excellent on tripadvisor Nick
  4. I used the BB PRICELINE link to start my bidding for a full size for June 27 at 10am returning the car July 1 at 11pm and was rejected at 15 per day. Tried SUV, Premium, and Luxury class all at 20 and all were rejected. I have seen by searching the board that someone got a full size for 15, so here's hoping that I can increase my bid to 20 by 1 dollar everyday for the next week and get a good deal. Have a backup reservation at Budget for 260cdn and one at dollar for 245 for full size, but Dollar uses Toyota Camary's as full size, even though we all know they are midsize. I want a true full size and I know that dollar doesn’t use Priceline or hotwire at YYC. I asked :) My goal is to get full size for 200 all in. Any suggestions? Am I crazy? Nick
  5. Decided not to book through HOTWIRE. Booked direct with Alamo so I could just do online check in and walk stiaght to rental at MCO. If booked through hotwite I DIDNT want Alamo as they have HUGE lines everytime I am at MCO for manual checkin, which is required with a HOTWIRE or PRICELINE win. Nick
  6. Use the dates Oct 15-Oct 22 noon pickup/dropoff
  7. When using the dates for MCO on Hotwire for car rentals, some show as car and counter at airport and some say "varies by rental agency" just plug in any dates to see what I mean. Nick

  9. Location: Orlando Airport West - Florida Mall Area Star rating: 2.5-star Check-in date: Sun, Jan 25, 2009 Check-out date:Mon, Jan 26, 2009 Post Cruise stay Breakfast Pools Fitness Business Center Laundry Internet Airport Shuttle UPDATE: Receieved email one week after booking notifiy me that hotel does not offer shuttle to airport anymore. Offered free cancellation plus 50 hotbucks (Same as cash using it with HOTWIRE). I went ahead and cancelled to get the refund and the free 50 hotbucks, but will probably re book this hotel in the future for the exact same night as we did not need the shuttle anyway. The other option was to get 50% of the nights stay of the original booking which would be worth only about 20 bucks. I cancelled for free, and made 50 bucks. Will re book same hotel for free. Essentially will be a free stay for something that did not affect me in any way. Nice to see HOTWIRE looking after there customers. EXCELLENT customer service. used bb HOTWIRE link to start booking as usual Nick Oh and this price was for 4 adults. Nick
  10. Booked this for a pre cruise stay. About 1.5 hours from Miami. OK deal for this property. Could have booked direct for a few more dollars with the ability to cancel. This was in the Jensen Beach-Stuart Florida area on Hotwire. Amenities Breakfast Pool Fitness Restuarant Laundry Business Center Internet Used BB HOTWIRE link as usual Nick
  11. Got this property on first try at $70 on priceline. Started at $70 thinking I would get Sheraton Centre at $72. Good Deal, excellent stay. Used BB PRICELINE links as usual. Nick
  12. When looking at hotwire at the different rental options for MCO (Orlando) some say car and counter located at Airport, others say varies by rental agencies. If it does say "varies by rental agency" does this mean it is offsite of the Airport property witha shuttle? Would that also mean if it says "Counter and Car are at airport" than it will give you an onsite rental agency (for MCO that being Avis, Alamo, National) Thanks Nick
  13. Delta Montreal (www.deltamontreal.com) $50 per night April 18-20, 2008 First bid of $50 accepted Used SavingsBarn PRICELINE link to start process Nick

  15. Yes, Laundry and tennis are part of the Amenities once you click on the header link, but unless you do, the amenities shown are the ones in the original post. I wonder why they dont show ALL the ameneties on the main search results page? Also, as soon as I completed the purchase, the price went from $54 a night to $56 a night. This property is #23 out of about 150 hotel in the kissimmee area on Trip Advisor. Nick
  16. 18. Used Savingsbarn for the following bidding, Sunday, September 16, 2007 looking for 4* downtown Toronto First Bid Downtown $65 rejected rebid adding West $68 rejected rebid adding East $70 rejected rebid adding Burlington/Oakville $72 rejected rebid adding Don Valley $74 accepted Accepted at $74 for Sheraton Center Hotel downtown Toronto Note: none of the added areas had 4* hotels and was hoping to get Westin Harbour Castle or Sheraton, so I am very happy. Checked the Sheraton website, "Garunteed Best Rate" was $299 for this night, so about $220 savings Just curious, but why do people on here bid a couple times and close the browser and restart all over again for the same bidding session? Is thier a reason for this? Nick
