I clicked on the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE link from this website! On priceline, looking to book a 5* or 4* hotel in Puerto Vallarta Historic Zone - South Shore from 3/24 to 3/29 - I searched the forum and got some posts from 2012 and it seems the pricelines zones have changed. Can you please help me identify the hotels in that zone and prices at which bids could clear? Will make sure to use the PRICELINE link on this forum. Thanks in advance!

I got Gran Melia which I think is a good property - we stay at Melia property in Cancun and really liked it. Paid $97 per night on hotwire and $112 including taxes and fees. Keep in mind these resort charges a 16% resort fee on the total amount if you book through Hotwire or Priceline. Thx for your help. Used the HOTWIRE link on this website for the reservation.

I need help in identifying this hotel on Hotwire. 3* on Cocoa Beach - Cape Canaveral with the following amenities: Free Parking Free Breakfast Free Internet Pet Friendly Oceanfront Property Pool Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Based on what I read on this forum, it seems to be La Quinta on 1 Hendry Ave but want to make sure. As always, will use HOTWIRE link on this forum.

Used PRICELINE link on this website $33 was my first bid based on other posts and it won! Taxes and fees added another $12 (which seems high) - so total is $45.

Had a great stay, nice rooms and staff, shuttle to disney is very convenient. Parking is $13/day.

The hotel lobby is renovated and casino is decent but the rooms need serious renovation. Kids loved the water activities but keep in mind there is a resort fee of about $18/day (parking is free, like most other casinos on the strip).

After booking the room, I see that the regular room rate for those dates is about $60 (maybe they are running a special rate), not too different from the rate I got via bidding on priceline. I started bidding at the lowest rate recently reported on this forum for this property. I am wondering if I would have benefitted by starting with a lower bid - or if this is the floor rate and the hotel would not accept anything below this. I know it's hard to say for sure but would be worth a try given that you can re-bid 5 times at this location.

Thanks for the feedback! Booked 2 rooms, 4* Monte Carlo (Strip South) for $55, Dates June 13 to 15. I started the bid at $55 and it was accepted at that level. I used the PRICELINE link on this website.

I understand that I might get only one bed but in the past I have always got 2 beds (although never tried in Vegas) - so I am willing to take my chances on that. We are in Vegas from 13th to 15th June and its a vacation. I don't mind staying away 10 to 15 miles away from the strip for a family friendly place - I do not want to end up booking at a hotel which either does not allow kids or the place itself is not appropriate for kids. I am booking 2 rooms (we have another couple with us) am fine paying upto $100 per room for a 4*/5*. Appreciate your help! I will make sure I book using the PRICELINE link. Separately, I am also trying to book a room in Flagstaff,AZ but my Priceline of $52 bid for 3* in Flagstaff zone was rejected. Unfortunately there are only 2 zones in that area so I will have to wait for 24 hours to re-bid - will update the forum.

I am going with 2 kids to Vegas and want to stay in a family friendly 4* or 5* hotel - any tips on which zones should I bid on PRICELINE? I am fine staying off the strip.

I wanted to stay at the Hyatt Resort and so I started bidding at $68, then used free rebids to increase the bid to $80 and the offer was accepted at $90 - so the clearing price is somewhere between $80 and $90. Keep in mind there is a $20/night resort fee but you pay the fee even if you book it through any other website. Used the PRICELINE link to book the reservation.
