I checked 2 days ago and they were $9 a night cheaper (at least the 3/16-3/18 date) :( I might wait a day or do for the prices hopefully to drop again... The easy view seems to be missing on other 5 star hotel, not sure why..

  4. Hmmm thats strange - I just tried again and I still see it. Its just the "Naples" area. We want to be in the Naples area and have at least a 3 star for the weekend of 11/7 (Friday) to 11/9 (Sunday). All I see a 3* for $74 - 85% Recomendation and my original 4* for $126. I did the search for 1 room, 1 adult. I would want my max for a 3* be $80 and 4* max be $135. The wedding is right in the center of Hot.wires "Naples" area.
  5. Help ID 4* Naples, FL - Naples 11/7/14-11/9/14 We are going for a friends wedding and are probably going to get at least 3 rooms. 6. Excellent. Think the Executive club level is worth it? Looks like the room is bigger + nicer amenities. Also you get access to their lounge that has free appetizers + soft drinks (I think just soft, nothing hard) , free breakfast and more. Its $60 more a night. I originally requested it because I thought it included a 2 hour open bar. My girlfriend and I are going for vacation - she loves Chicago and I just want everything to be perfect :)
  7. Went ahead a booked it... but forgot to click the HOTWIRE link here :( It was indeed the Westin! Super excited

  12. I am setting up a bachelor party and had a hard time getting my hotel rooms for cheaper too. I had to go all the way up to $105 (for a 4*) on May 10th-13th. I few of us are getting in a day early and I was able to get the May 9th one night stay for only $65. I dont think theres anything big going on that weekend. This was on of the cheaper weekends to fly into New Orleans for me. The jazz festival is the weekend before it. BTW, I got the Mariott in French Quarters.
  13. Finally got this hotel for $105 for my friends bachelor party weekend. I started at $60 and moved up in increments of $5. I booked a single room (already posted) on a Thursday and got it for only $65 , so Im kind of surprised this was so much more (and its usually cheaper on the weekends). Still got a pretty good deal though. Im hoping to get 2 double beds, the first time I called they said they cant change the reservations. Il requesting it again tomorrow.
  14. Nice! I actully am going to be at this same hotel for my friends bachelor party too. I made 1 reserveration for 1 room on a thurday in may and then made a seperate bid for 4 rooms friday-monday. When I called about 2 beds on thursday it was no problem. Then when I called a couple days later for the fri-mon stay they told me no changes were allowed. Im going to call tomrrow and try again. Il be pretty upset if we get 1 bed in each room since theres 12 of us for 4 rooms.
  15. I got one night 4* in FQ on May 9th for $65 on PRICELINE. It was a Marriott . They allowed me to extend the nights at the same price but I did not try to do it.
  16. I booked a room on priceline for Thursday May 9th - just one night. Got a 4* FQ at the marriott. Got it for $65. Now trying to get 4 rooms for the Friday-Monday following it. Im up to $70 on PRICELINE with no luck. Would love to get the marriott again. I called and requested 2 double beds for my thursday night stay. No extra charge :)
  17. Did $60 2 days ago and failed. Did $65 today and got it. Also called in to request 2 double beds. Just needed 1 room that night. Very happy with this :) Now Im trying to get this for May 10th - May 13th with 4 rooms. Ive gone up to $70 a night with no luck. Will be trying $75 tomorrow for that weekend.
  18. Theres going to be 12 of us and I searched for 4 rooms. I did the search for just 8 people in 4 rooms though.
  19. Trying to find a good hotel in New Orleans for a bachelor party. Im looking at hotwire. May 9th-May 13th weekend. Both hotels have 85% recommendation and same amenities. Im trying to figure out what hotels they are. I found a 4* Downtown New Orleans with: Recommended in 85 % of Hotwire customer reviews Smoke Free Room Fitness Center Pool Restaurant Business Center High speed internet access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room acessibility accessible bathroom roll-in shower ALSO looking at a 4* French Quaters Recommended in 85 % of Hotwire customer reviews Smoke Free Room Fitness Center Pool Restaurant Business Center High speed internet access Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room acessibility accessible bathroom roll-in shower
  20. Im in the same sitatuion. Im planing a bachelor party for about 12 of us. We are going May 10th-13th. Theres going to be 12 or 13 of us and Im planing on getting 3 or 4 rooms. I want to get a 4* downtown of french quarters (Want something rowdy but also safe). I would like to be on burboun st. Im also hoping to get 2 beds in each room. I will be sure to call the hotel right after my booking to request it. Keep me updated on what you do/get. I heard the swamp tours are pretty cool and I believe you can drink on them: http://www.louisianaswamp.com/ I was told frenchmen ? area is good for music so we are going to head there one night. Warehouse disctrict is also a pretty good time but I think it might be more of a locals area.
  21. Tried south beach too for 70 and didn't get it. Tried 81 for just south beach and couldn't get it, then I added north beach and got Daddy O hotel. Its usually double that price, and seems like a decent hotel.
  22. Oops forgot to add the Amenities: Resort Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Spa Services Children's Activity Program
