I was wondering if it'd be possible to ask for a room upgrade by tipping the desk clerk as mentionned in one of the forum sections somewhere else, even though I got the room from the HOTWIRE link? Is that a feasible plan?

Hi, I took a look at Hotwire.com and there's a 4* hotel at 109$ Same dates: July 13th to July 14th 1 night stay for two adults. I figured we'd cram the other 2 with us in there. Hotel Amenities are : Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Spa Services Children's Activity Program Any idea as to which one it might be? Thanks again. I know I'm asking a lot of questions in such short notice.

I don't mind bidding up to 150$ CAD so maybe that would be around 130-140$ US I would really want a falls view room because we'd like to watch everything from within the room itself. I also pushed our reservation date to Friday in order to be able to see the fireworks. Thanks for your time dahammer

Hi guys, I'm looking to book a hotel room at the Niagara Falls with a fallsview in a 4* hotel. I would like to check in on Friday the 13th and checkout on Saturday the 14th of 2007. We will be two couples looking to stay in the very same room. I pretty much like all of the 4* hotels in the region but there is one that I do not want to stay at, the Doubletree Resort Lodge & Spa Fallsview Niagara Falls, as it doesn't seem to have an extraodinary view of the falls as from the other locations in that area. The other hotel I was interested in was the Embassy Suites Niagara Falls Fallsview which was unfortunately bumped from the 4* rating to 3*. Any recommendations on how to proceeed would be greatly appreciated. Worse case scenario, I'll just bid anyways and go with the flow as I've read in some reviews that they do have a nice view of the american falls. Thank you guys.

I'm sorry for not posting the dates in my previous post as I didn't know it was very important. I just thought that it was a permanent downgrade by Priceline and didn't think it could only change according to the chosen dates of my travel plans. I was hoping to book a room for a one night stay between the 12th of July or the 13th of July 2007 Please let me know if the above information is sufficient or if you guys need more details.

Hi guys, I've been checking to book a hotel room with a fallsview in Niagara Falls, Ontario and noticed that the Embassy Suites Hotel Niagara Falls / Fallsview star rating went from 4* to 3* about yesterday or even before yesterday. I apologize if this isn't an appropriate post.
