  1. Well, since you wouldn't help me I had to make other arrangements other than HOTWIRE or PRICELINE. There, I finalized this thread, hopefully you will help me next time.
  2. I have always shared my wins and used your links. Sometimes I ended up not using HOTWIRE or PRICELINE. If one slipped through the cracks I apologize. I will always post my wins. I just checked again and it is now saying a 70% recommended and it's also up a dollar to $120. I'm guessing the 70% and the 90% are two different hotels? Thanks for your help.
  3. I just looked again and it says this hotel is recommended by 90% of HOTWIRE customers, not sure where I got 70%.
  4. I'm looking to stay in Austin over the July 4th weekend. Hotwire has a 4* room for $119 a night with the following; Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, High-Speed Internet Access, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking. Also recommended in 70% of reviews. Also says, $204 on other sites. Went to Expedia and AT&T is $143 and it says no rooms available at W, but if I go to W website there are rooms available for $371. According to your site it could either be the W or the AT&T conference center. Never stayed at the second one, but have stayed at the first, and it is very nice. I am a hotwire express member if that could do any good. Any way to tell which one it is?
  5. Thanks again. I just read the post from johnsue5012. He said that usually with the non-smoking icons it is usually one of these Hyatt Place hotels. Can you confirm this? I just noticed you are from Hoboken, my daughter is considering Stevens. Is Hoboken a place I would want my daughter to live for 4 years?
  6. Thanks for the reply, sorry for the delay. We will be there April 2-7th. I did use your HOTWIRE link and will when I make the purchase.
  7. The Hyatt Place South is listed on here as having the following ammenities: Smoke Free Rooms Complimentary Breakfast Fitness Center Pool(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access When searching for a room I find a 3* at the airport, but in addition to all these ammenities, it also says that it has shuttle. Is it possible that this is a different hotel? Also, any chance outdoor pools are open in early April in HOTlanta.
  8. OK, I appologize. I use hotwire and try to determine what hotel they are offering and sometimes when we are looking at a vacation, this might help determine where we stay. In most of these cases, they were not a hotel I was interested in, so I got a hotel straight from the hotel. When I have won on priceline or hotwire, I post here The trip is to Portland is firm, I have a meeting on that monday and would like to stay close to the office where I am staying. So if you have any idea what hotels these might be, I would appreciate it. If they are close by than I would be willing to purchase now. Thank you, Jerry Hall
  9. As it turned out, I did not end up taking any of these trips, for various reasons. If I had, I would of responded.
  10. Is this an official answer? Da Hammer is not the person who usually replies to my posts. I saw that the sheraton was the only hotel listed, that's why I asked the question. Frequently there is not a match and someone posts the information and there is a reply with an educated guess as to what hotel it might be. Thannks.
  11. I need to be in Portland for business on the above dates. I found the following hotels. 2.5 star with suite, comp. break., fit. cntr., laundry, shuttle, pool, high speed internet for $56/night 3 star with shuttle, pool, restaurant and fitness center for $82/night. Any idea what these could be. I normally wouldn't care, but I am bringing my 8 year old son and would like to have an indoor pool. Thanks, for your help. Jerry
  12. Thanks for all your input. When I am traveling with my family (there are five of us) I don't use priceline much, because there is always the chance of getting one bed. With hotwire I can specify two adults and two children, and so far I have always gotten two beds and the youngest one sleeps on a rollaway, couch, floor, etc. However I have on occasion got two rooms on priceline for the price of one on hotwire. For example, I am going to Denver on the 16th for a sales meeting with an associate and I got two rooms for $40/room at the Doubletree, hotwire wanted a $100 for what I believed to be the Doubletree. Again, thanks for everyones help.
  13. I read the previous post for a 4* in Jersey City, so I thought this may be the Hyatt, but this one has more ammenities, and it's a whole lot cheaper, I know it's different dates, but it is right after christmas, and I thought hotels would be very expensive. The listed ammenities are: Restaurant, pool, fitness, high speed internet, business center. Is this the Hyatt? Also, what ever hotel it might be, how close to train/bus into the city. Thanks, Jerry
  14. Forgot to list ammenities Casino, Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Fitness Center, Children's Activity Program, Business Center
  15. I'm staying in the Wynn for the weekend with my wife and then she is leaving on tuesday and I have a conference and have to stay until the 21st. I am looking for an inexpensive place to stay which this, but can't find out what it is. Any idea what hotel this might be and is it worth $60 a night. Thanks,
  16. Even though there are 4 o us, I decided to search on 2, and here is what I got in Golden: a 2 1/2 * with; Suite, Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Fitness Center, Kitchenette, High-Speed Internet Access, Golf Nearby, Business Center @ $37 a night. Any idea what this is and why it doesn't show up for 2 or 3 people since it's a suite. Thanks for your help, I am read to move on this one. The dates I put in are from 8/14-8/18. Thanks, Jerry
  17. This hotel has the following ammenities: Complimentary Breakfast, Pool(s), Fitness Center, Kitchenette, Business Center, Laundry Facilities (self-service). While Lubbock is not huge, we would prefer to stay on the south side of town, so would like a best guess as to what hotel this is. Thanks, Jerry
  18. Now I'm not seeing the $39 one or the suite. I am seeing a 3 1/2* that looks nice with Selected amenities include: Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Fitness Center, Business Center for $68 and a 3* with Pool(s), Fitness Center for $55. Any idea on these? Also, again, do you know if this is a good area to be in to be a tourist. Also, do these areas charge a parking fee. It kind of defeats the purpose, if we have to pay $30 a day parking. Thanks, Jerry
  19. We are looking to take a two week road trip beginning 8/14 traveling from Texas to Virginia. So I may be asking lots of questions. Our first stop is Denver. I found a hotel on hotwire, that I didn't find on your list. Any idea what it might be? Selected amenities include:silkHotAmenities7: Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Fitness Center, High-Speed Internet Access, Golf Nearby, Business Center, Laundry Facilities (self-service). Also, is this a good location. I have been to denver, but it has proably been 30 years. We are looking to do the normal tourist stuff, but don't no what is the best place to stay. Since we are going to be on the road for two weeks, I am somewhat budget minded. Thanks, Jerry
  20. I was surpirised to not find any hotels on your hotwire list for Atlantic City. Any Idea what these are, both are in downtown? 3 1/2 stars, Customer favorite, Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Fitness Center, Golf Nearby, Business Center 3 stars, Oceanfront, Near Beach, Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Tennis Nearby, Business Center Thanks, Jerry
  21. I'm not sure what it is you want me to do. I read my past messages and I didn't see that I needed to reply????
  22. If you got to Lynchburg, if you haven't already been there, you got to go to the Texas Inn 422 Main Street Lynchburg, VA 24504 (804) 846-3823 We found it by accident, but it is a Lynchburg staple. They have hot dogs and hamburgers. When we go there (family of 5) the first person is getting there food before the last one orders. Also, very cheap. A family of 5 can get out for $12-$14. You gotta try this place.
  23. I didn't see any listings on your site for Williamsburg, VA hotels. I have found the following for the above night: Busch Gardens, 2.5*, $110; Pool(s), Fitness Center, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Laundry Facilities (self-service) Central/Colonial Williamsburg, 3*, $171; Share the savings with a Condo. Selected amenities include: 1 Bedroom Suite, Kitchenette, Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Air-Conditioning, Washer and Dryer in Room, Fitness Center, Tennis Nearby Any help would be greatley appreciated.
  24. Thanks for your input, I will probably try to get something later in the day. I might try priceline first. But I will use your link either way. One other question I had. When searching I tried several different dates. And no matter what dates I choose, it only ever gave me one option for a 3* hotel. The 3*'s you have listed are the Wyndham and the Holiday Inn or Sheraton, which both have the same ammenities, but one different than the Wyndham. I am curious, is it just the way it worked out that the Wyndham and either the HI or Sher. were not availiable at the same time. Or is it possible that Hotwire would only offer one option, because they stand to make more money. Just curious. Thanks
