After bidding for several days in all types of zones for a 4* in London, I finally won this. I am very happy because it is near Wembley where I will be attending a game. Of course, I used the PRICELINE link at Betterbidding.com.

Bid $70, $75, $80, $83 and $85 using the rebidding zones. $85 was accepted.

I suggest you try again closer to your departure date. I find that prices through priceline often drop close to the date of arrival.

I used the link from Savingsbarn.com and bid on a 2.5 star hotel. I won this one. I will have to change hotels to go to the Courtyard for 2 nights, but at least I will be able to experience 2 different highly rated hotels.

Used the link from Savingsbarn.com Bid $75 for 4* at Dupont Circle-Woodley Park for a friend of mine. Was accepted at the Westin Embassy Row which is actually the hotel he wanted. He is very happy.

Bid $75 for 4* Dupont Circle. Rejected. Rebid $80 for 4* Dupont Circle and Crystal City, and was successful.

Priceline has very recently added a 4* hotel in Arlington, VA, so there are now only 2 rebidding zones without a 4* hotel in the DC area, Springfield and Crystal City.

For the nights 11/15-11/18, a 4* Customer Favorite hotel with amenities fitness, restaurant, high speed internet, business and spa comes up for $103 per night. This does not seem to correspond with any hotel on the pinned list. Any help in identifying the hotel would be much appreciated. Thanks. Please disregard. I discovered it is the Capitol Hilton.

Stayed there for $85 per night around Canada Day, and it was terrific. Glad to be able to get it for my friend.

I bid at around 11 PM Eastern time on the 21st.

I also got the Inter-Continental for 6/29-7/2 for $85 per night after first trying $75 and then $80. I am happy about this and will report back on my stay afterwards.
