  1. I actually wouldn't have a problem with the Hyatt, but I'm a little worried that the 3.5* may be the Millenium which doesn't appear to have an indoor pool.
  2. It may work for our needs. I would like to have a good idea of what it is before going ahead because we would really like to have an indoor pool to use (traveling with children). If I do decide to go ahead with it I will be sure to use your link and will let you know what hotel it turns out to be.
  3. Thanks for the response. It appears that the 3* that I mentioned only comes up with a search with 2 adults and 2 children for a Downtown Cincinnati hotel for 3/26. It does not appear when I search with only 2 adults.
  4. I am looking for a hotel in Cincinnati for one night - 3/26. When I look on Hotwire, it comes up with a 3.5* and a 3* that I cannot identify from the list. Both are listed as Downtown Cincinnati - Riverfront Area. - 3.5* listed amenities include: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, High-speed Internet, and Business Center - listed at $60. - 3* listed amenities include: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, High-speed Internet, Business Center, and Laundry - listed at $47. After doing some research, all I can think is that the 3.5* may be the Radisson and the 3* may be the Hyatt or Millennium. Any insight as to what these two hotels may be would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
  5. I received a response from Hotwire that I am entitled to a $1000 credit for the room. Thanks for the assistance, and thanks to Hotwire for a great deal on the room!
  6. I will post an update as soon as I hear anything. Since I made the reservation I have been saving pages and doing screen captures of the sites that still do have rooms available - just in case. Hopefully it won't come to that.
  7. Well, I decided to take the plunge and this was indeed the Embassy Suites on State. Now we'll see if Hotwire comes through on their "Double the Difference" guarantee. Rooms were available on the Embassy Suites website, Travelocity, and Orbitz - all at a much lower rate.
  8. Just curious, when you stayed at the Swissotel did you have use the pool at all? If you did, was there are additional charge? Also, how were the rooms? Thanks.
  9. Thanks for the response. I guess that I am just sceptical too, especially the difference is at least $138. I am also a little concerned that the hotel would not be the correct one. From what I have read here it appears to be the Embassy Suites on State St. It shows up as a 3.5* in the Magnificent Mile - Wacker Drive area with the following amenities: Restaurant Fitness Center Complimentary Breakfast Kitchenette High Speed Internet Access Business Center I will be traveling with my wife and children arriving on May 14 and checking out on May 17. On the Embassy Suites website the standard rate is listed as $209, and I have also see the "best available rate" on Travelocity as $179 with a king bed, and $209 with two double beds. I guess my original question should have actually been - should I feel confident that the hotel listed on Hotwire is the Embassy Suites on State St, and if it is then should I feel confident that Hotwire would honer their "double the difference" guarantee even for that amount of money? Thanks again for the assistance.
  10. This hotel sounds like exactly what I am looking for. The problem is that what appears to be the Embassy Suites is coming up as $347 for me on Hotwire. On the Embassy Suites website, the room is available for $209. Can anyone tell me what the chances are that Hotwire would give me "double the difference" on this room if I booked it?
