I have tried Priceline for the last 3 days going up to $98.00 and no luck for a 3* in Memphis, Downtown. I found on Lastminutetravel.com what looks like the exact same thing as EasyClickTravel travel but $20 cheaper per night. Do you have a like to Lastminutetravel.com as I really want to support this board. Please let me know!!! She wants 2 nights now instead of 1 listed earlier.

Sorry, but I did not know where to post this question. My sister has put me in charge of her travel plans and I noticed a 4.5* hotel in Downtown Memphis for the night of May 28 for $125.04. I tried the reverse look up but it gave me nothing. Do you know what hotel this might be?. Thanks for the help.

Booked this for my sister through the HOTWIRE Link. May have been able to get it a little cheaper on Priceline but this is the hotel that she wanted, so decided to stay with Hotwire as I was pretty sure this one would come up. Amenities were Fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Business and Internet. Check-in - 5/27/07 Check-out - 5/28/07 Rate $54.00 Taxes and fees $15.21 Sheraton Cincinnati North 11320 Chester Rd Cincinnati, Ohio 45246 Funny thing was when I put in 2 adults price was $55 and 2 adults and 1 kid price was $54. (pity the kid won't be able to show up that night!!!!)

I was just checking things out on the Hawaii Prince Hotel throught the HOTWIRE link. It appears that a package for the Prince (4 nights and a rental car)is a few dollars cheaper than what appears to be the hotel alone....the golf icon is missing in the hotel alone, but all the other icons match up. 4 nights and car $814 4 nights $816.03 If you were planning to rent a car on your trip, this might work for you. When I lived there, parking was free behind the Prince hotel at the marina, don't know if that is the case now.

Don't let the location of the HI Prince turn you off, if you walk out the back door facing the ocean and walk about 3 mins you will be at the ocean right in front of the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The Prince is a far superior hotel to the Princess Kaiulani hotel. The other bonus of the Prince, is you are also very close to the Ala Moana Shopping Center (walking distance) and Ala Moana beach park which has a lovely beach and with usually far less people than Waikiki beach. You can check this out on Google Maps and it shows you where all the beaches are. Hope this helps.

Don't think she would receive a prioroty card in 3 days and I have warned her about the small rooms...... praying she will have someone nice at check-in or I'll never be let book another room again (although...if she wants a bargain she always comes to me :)

As she had a party of three, I decided to book this for her. Check in 9/23 Check out 9/25 Crowne Plaza 1800 Market Street Philadelphia, PA 19103 Price per night $69.00 Taxes and fees $23.14 Total $161.14 Customer Favorite Amenities were Fitness, Restaurant, Pool, Business and Laundry May have been able to lower it with another bid on priceline but as she had 3 in her party, decided to play it safe. Dhammer - I have given her all the details about the cheap parking as it looks like her hotel is not too far from the garages you listed in a previous post.

Thank you everyone for all the great advise. Unfortunately the weather was not the greatest when we were there so we did not get to participate in all the outdoor activities (we did manage to get in a quick bike ride in the rain and I'm sure in favorable weather this canal bike ride would have been great... flat wide trail all the way). The outdoor pool looks good but had to stay inside at it was pretty cold. Did eat in a southern Indian restaurant called Hoysala (located in the Highwood Plaza, off Rt 527 south, about 2 miles from the hotel) Buffet dinner at $14 per person...food was very good and different than the Indian food we're used to.

Thank you thereuare and dhammer for the info on food and activities. The canal trail looks good and just our speed(nice and flat) so will more than likely take a bike ride on that. About how many miles from hotel down to Carnagie Lake in Princeton????

Bid yesterday for 3* then 2.5* in the Somerville-Bridgewater area up to $35 and no go. Went back in today and bid just for the above area for 3* and accepted at $33 for the first bid. Did not bid any higher in the other area as I was pretty sure this Marriott would have come up for $33 based on previous bids. Just wanted to update. We went ahead and booked the Manchester Airport Travelodge (unable to book it through your support site) for 26 pounds. We hope to rent a car and drive to the nearby Peak district for a few hours.

.The travelodge that I'm interested in did not show up when I went to your support site.......maybe this one is not the same at US properties????. I am still debating on this hotel as to what to do given the boredom factor of 3 small kids with nothing to do.

Thank you both for the quick replies. The reviews look good and will probably end up booking this....my only concern is spending a whole afternoon evening with 3 kids (9,7,3) with nothing to do. The Marriott has a lovely pool which they would love. (No guarantee it would come up on priceline at a cheap rate). Is it okay to bring young children to pubs in England for a bite to eat:)?

Looking for a little advice on Manchester Airport, July 8th, 1 night. We have a connection and need to spend a night in Manchester. We have an early flight on Sunday, July 9th and would like to stay near the airport. I would love to book something on priceline but am a little concerned.....most of the hotels on the area seem to want only 2 people in each room. We are 2 adults and 3 kids...I know I will need 2 rooms but will it be a problem having and extra kid in one of the rooms. The best deal I have found is a prepaid rate of $53 at the Travelodge Airport hotel. (I looked at your Support Betterbidding link at the travelodge site but it seems like its just for US properties:????) Some of the 4 stars in the area get bad reviews so I'm a little concerned if I go the priceline way. If anyone is familiar with this area and know if the above hotel is walking distance to a small town (places to eat), please let me know. Also would it be worth our while to go into the city for the afternoon (we arrive around noon), public transport. I saw someone get the Marriott not to long ago and it looks nice but they paid a lot more than I would like at this point being that I need 2 rooms. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I don't see any bids for 4* around $55, more like $70's but why not give it a try....you have plenty of free rebids with 4*. With 3* people have got accepted under $55 but you have only 2 rebid options on that one(please check before you bid). Good luck and let us know if you had success. Hotwire had 4* for you dates for $77 so you might be able to beat that on Priceline.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful vacation in Hawaii. I lived there for 8 years in the 90's and really miss the place. If you are visiting Oahu and like Thai food, two of my favorite places were Chang Mai (King St. near University Ave) and Meekong II (further down King St.). I hope they are still around, they were good and reasonable. Dukes Canoe club is another nice place right on the beach and Eggs and Things was good for breakfast (Kalakaua Ave). Have a nice time.
