Based on bids from yesterday, I bid for one night (6/7): $43 45 & 47. All rejected. Question: Bidding for MCO at 3.5 star level. Is it safe to use Ocoee - Orlando West (3 stars) or Orlando East (3 stars) as a rebid? I fear they will "grab" my 3.5 bid. Please give me some advice on this! Thanks

I was a bit wary because the Hotwire description only showed the following amenities: Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access It did not include pool or laundry as earlier posters and the list of Pinned Hotels had indicated, so I wasn't sure it would be the Hilton Garden Inn Airport. I was happy to see that in fact it was!

Recommended in 65% of Hotwire Customer reviews [how do I pursue this?] The 2 possibilities I thought would be Courtyard and Holiday Inn. Makes me a bit nervous! A hotel in the Newburgh - Stewart Intl Airport SWF area hotel is shown with 2.5 stars at $69. I'm about to get going again with a downtown Cleveland hotel. The current offering on Hotwire shows the following: 3.5-star hotel in Downtown Cleveland for $64. This hotel features the following amenities: Fitness Center Guests have access to exercise equipment; an additional charge may apply. Restaurant(s) Property offers at least one restaurant on the premises; hours and days of operation may vary. Business Center Guests have access to business equipment and services; an additional charge may apply. High-speed Internet Access Guestrooms are equipped with high-speed Internet access; an extra charge may apply. My question: SSPS posted a win for 5/27 showing the Doubletree with the same amenities, but at a price of $49. What is the likelihood that the $64 price will drop back down if I wait? Thanks

Update: Had a great stay at this gorgeous hotel. Attention to detail was amazing. Be sure to ask for a room NOT overlooking the pool to avoid being seranaded by a good but loud band. This was a real "scene" and fun to watch, but not if you wanted to sleep!! Restaurant was outstanding -- the best cubano ever and a Lobster Cobb salad to die for! :)

We turned in our rental car the night before and took the Marriott Shuttle back to thte hotel (we had already checked in and left our luggage in our room). The next morning we took the Shuttle from the Marriott to the airport. Very convenient and saved a lot of hassle (not to mention the $8!). Also, we had a delightful and delicious light dinner outside by the pool (Luxe Restaurant). Shared a huge ceasar salad with blackened mahi mahi and a yummy apple tart. Couldn't have been nicer! The hotel was great -- highly recommended -- especially at the PRICELINE price!! :)

Won this on 4/22/09. With Tax recovery charges & fees ($30.56) total was $274.56 for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday nights of Mother's Day Weekend -- 5/8/09 - 5/10/09). A good price for this hotel recently featured in a Wall Street Journal article on Vero Beach. Thanks for a great site! :)
