Just looked up some previous posts that the 4.5* could be a MGM Signature and the 5* a Vdara / Aria. Also, from the Hotwire Hotel List, looks like the $188 4.5* could be the PH Towers. Does PH Towers mean it could be the original PH or the Westgate? Or only one of them? If one of them, which one could it be? Am I correct? Thanks.

My bid for $95 / night for TI just got accepted. Its rates start from $155 during that time. Seems like a pretty decent price for me. =)

There's a Sandman Hotel (3*) for $82 and Coast Hotel (2.5*) for $95 now. I don't think I will bid up to that amount.

When I checked a few weeks ago, it was about $80+ for a 2.5* not including taxes and fees. I was told by a friend that whole houses with master bedrooms and regular bedrooms are available for rent for a few hundred dollars, and it could be split among a few friends of hers. That might be my alternative, because it is cheaper than a regular hotel room.

Hi, the least expensive 3* the better =] I prefer to stay in Richmond. If I am bidding for 3*, would it be harder to get hotel that's in Richmond (Airport Area), since quite a few locations have 3* hotels.

I'll be staying from 07/21 - 26. I am trying to get a 4* room for $90 or less w/ the priceline fees included. Not sure how the bidding rates are for them in YVR. I am fine with a 3 or 3.5* hotel as well if it is about $70 or below w/ the fees included. From past experiences, PL charges like $10-20 fees correct?

I checked, and my rate is pretty much the same or maybe a little more expensive than direct from hotel. :) It's not easy for me, since I am only able to go during weekends, which for sure affect greatly on the outcome!!! I hope my expectation is so low that the place actually meets it. haha Thanks, and I'll will come again... probably for another LV trip in thanksgiving.. :)

Awwl... the thing i dun want happened! got accepted by Luxor for $115 (plus tax/fees $137) :) haha.. well.. anyways, i guess that's 1 down side (and the surprising part) of priceline, you never know what you are going to get! I hope my expectation is so low that the actual room would be above my expectation, coz I have been avoiding Luxor because of the bad reviews and low ratings I see everywhere. And I just checked PL again for the rates, and the rate for luxor has went down quite a bit from be4!!! OMG...... Just wondering, what are the taxes / fees if I bought the Luxor room directly instead of bidding for it?

Yes, sadly I usually go to LV in the weekends. =( I don't think South Pt is 4* though, is it? Actually it'd be even better if I could get MGM Grand, because I have friends coming from canada that will stay there. But I know it's not even and not guaranteed...
