  1. Sorry forgot to post the price. It was $129/night.
  2. Ah, ended up booking at it actually was the Wynn. I'm happy with that, but was sort of hoping for Palazzo/Venetian since it can sleep 6 if you get a room with 2 queens. I also didn't think it was the Wynn because previous posts stated that the Wynn wasn't charging resort fees if booked through Hotwire. I guess that's not true anymore. I used the HOTWIRE link as always. This board is great!
  3. Ok I'm still looking at this trip and haven't booked yet. Today, I saw this 5* for the Strip North Area. These amenities match Wynn, Venetian, and Palazzo from what I've read in the Hotel List. But historically, is there a particular hotel that matches these 8 amenities the most? Casino Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services
  4. Got the Palazzo for $139 for an impromptu trip through Priceline. It was amazing. I even won some money from the $25 slot credit they gave each of us. As always, I used the PRICELINE link.
  5. Here are the amenities listed. I didn't see an exact match in the hotel list: 5-star hotel in Las Vegas Strip - North This hotel features the following amenities: Resort Suite Casino Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Spa Services
  6. I am staying that weekend and would love to stay in the Encore. I didn't even know it was on the Priceline list. What was your bidding process?
  7. Got Aria Resort & Casino Las Vegas for $84! Very happy with this! Here are the amenities that were listed for the property: Resort Casino Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access And of course, I used the HOTWIRE link.
  8. Ended up getting the Sheraton Pasadena for $84.50 a night. I discovered I had $30 in rewards, so I bid $77 and PRICELINE added $7.50/day for the 4 days to make my bid $84.50/night. And I definitely used the PRICELINE link. Thanks!
  9. Hi, I am trying to get a 3.5* hotel room in Pasadena for my in-laws but have not had any luck. Any helpful tips would be welcome. I tried the following strategy, based on what I've read in the forums. I decided my max would be $81 based on what I've seen from the past 3.5* winning bids for this area. I ONLY want a 3.5* or above hotel in the Pasadena zone. Here's what I did: 1. Bid $65 on a 3.5* in Pasadena - REJECTED 2. Bid $75 on a 3.5* in Pasadena & Monrovia - Duarte - REJECTED 3. Bid $81 on a 3* in Pasadena - REJECTED Thanks, bcrrizo
  10. Took a risk and bid a couple more times, adding the Langley & N. Vancouver zones. Ended up getting The Sutton Place for $105. I'm quite happy, as this is a much deserved trip for my wife and her girlfriends. Bonus points for me this Valentine's Day! :) Also, used the PRICELINE link.
  11. I am having trouble booking a 4* hotel for a stay in Vancouver. From the hotel list, it looks like Downtown and the Entertainment District are the only zones that have 4* hotels. However, there seem to be a couple new zones on Priceline that this forum's list does not include: Langley and North Vancouver. I do not want to add these zones because I don't want to stay there if they have 4* hotels. I've bid as low as $65 up to $100 with all possible zones (other than Langley and N. Vancouver) without success. There is a 5* hotel available on HOTWIRE for $122/night. I'd like to stay under $100 for a 4* if possible. Is it too early to bid?
  12. Got the Venetian from PRICELINE for $139/night on this trip. We wanted to stay on the strip.
  13. I've also been unsuccessful for a 4* in downtown Vancouver for 4/15-4/19. I've bid as high as $90. Have you checked Hotwire? For my dates, there is a 5* (which I think is Sutton Place) for $114.
  14. Here are the amenities: Spa Services Guests have access to a spa facility or spa services; an extra charge typically applies. Studio Condominium offers a combined living and sleeping area, plus a kitchenette or complete kitchen. Smoke Free Rooms Guest rooms at this hotel are always smoke-free. Fitness Center Guests have access to exercise equipment; an additional charge may apply. Pool(s) Property offers at least one pool area; hours and dates of operation may be seasonal. Restaurant(s) Property offers at least one restaurant on the premises; hours and days of operation may vary. Business Center Guests have access to business equipment and services; an additional charge may apply. High-speed Internet Access Guestrooms are equipped with high-speed Internet access; an extra charge may apply. Kitchenette Accommodations include a stovetop or microwave oven, a sink and a mini-refrigerator. Condo Condos are typically larger than a hotel room. Most condos offer separate sleeping and living areas and a full kitchen or kitchenette.
  15. 3-star hotel in North Strip This hotel features the following amenities: Casino Property offers a full-service casino accessible from the lobby. Pool(s) Property offers at least one pool area; hours and dates of operation may be seasonal. Restaurant(s) Property offers at least one restaurant on the premises; hours and days of operation may vary. Golf Nearby Property is located within walking distance or a short drive of at least one golf course; an extra charge typically applies.
  16. I used the HOTWIRE link. Just wanted to share.
  17. San Juan is the zone I want. I also wouldn't mind staying in Dorado or Rio Grande, but still much prefer San Juan. The other zones are Cabo Rojo, Mayaguez-Isabela, and Ponce. I don't want to stay in any of those zones. So I do want to try San Juan up to my maximum bid before the other areas. Thanks for the help! I love this board.
  18. Need help bidding for a 4* in the San Juan area. Max I want to spend is $99 a night. I noticed there are more zones in Priceline (are they new) than what's listed in the hotel list of this forum. I don't want to end up with a hotel in a zone outside of San Juan! Edit: Sorry, I meant I'd like to stay in a RESORT. I'm open to staying in zones 2, 6, and 5 but definitely prefer zone 6.
  19. Ended up getting the Venetian for $139/night. I'm happy with this! Thanks BetterBidding for the help. I used the PRICELINE link.
  20. Sorry for not replying. From my research, it looks like I picked an expensive weekend to go to Vegas! Tried this bid strategy over and over again, and it didn't work. Today I even upped my bid to $134 still without luck. The counteroffer on my first bid tonight was $155. Can I not get anything lower than that?
  21. How is everyone getting these deals!? I'm trying to book a trip for 12/12 - 12/14 and can't get anywhere near these prices.
  22. I'd like to get it at $119 like everyone else!
