  1. Offer Price: $45.00 Taxes & Fees: $11.18 Total: $56.18 An excellent deal at an excellent property. Very close to the airport with shuttle service. Buffet Breakfast is NOT included - but available for $13.95 per person.
  2. Got this on the first bid - I hate when that happens but still a great deal. Used the PRICELINE link! Room subtotal: $45.00 Taxes and Fees: $12.07 Total: $57.07
  3. This property is depicted as a 3 star by Priceline whereas Better Bidding lists it as a 2.5 star in the Phoenix - Tempe South area. Of course with all the multiple 3 star choices in the 4 areas I selected, I didn't think I would get a hotel I hadn't heard of, much less one that (I assume) was upgraded from a 2.5 star. The Trip Advisor reviews are not that good. Well, you throw the dice and you take your chances. Started at $40, worked up to $44 adding different areas. Offer Price: $44 Rooms: 1 Nights: 1 Room subtotal: $44 Taxes and Fees: 13.40 Less coupon: 3.08 Total: $54.32
  4. Got this room short notice on the day it was needed. I just bid $40 referencing the bid history since I didn't have time for multiple bids. Used the link here. A good deal overall. What a great website and service. Many thanks! Offer Price: $40.00 Rooms: 1 Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $40.00 Taxes & Fees: $13.41 Total Charged to Card: $53.41
  5. Got this on the first try. Used the link on this page, as always. Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $35.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $35.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $12.82 (USD) Total Charged to Card: $47.82 (USD)
  6. Just used the $81 bid others bidders have, and got it on the first bid. Room Cost (avg. per room, per night):$81.00 Number of Rooms:1 Number of Nights:2 Room Subtotal: $162.00 Taxes and Fees: $31.10 Total Room Cost:$193.10 The lowest listed online price on the Westin website was $159.00 Just discovered there is an $18.00 per night resort fee (plus tax) As always, used the PRICELINE link
  7. Forgot to mention that there is a $15 Resort fee - which comes to $16.34 after taxes. The fee includes trivial things like, Wi-fi, parking, use of the pool, discounts at stores and spas, and a free appetizer at the pool bar.
  8. Booked this short-notice. Tried multiple areas around Phoenix because we weren't too picky about the location. Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $41.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Guests Per Room: 2 Number of Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $41.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $13.22 (USD) Total Room Cost: $54.22 Used the PRICELINE link
  9. Got this on short-notice. As always, used the PRICELINE link. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $56.00 Subtotal: $56.00 Taxes & Fees: $14.50 Total Charges*: $70.50 Hotel rooms were expensive around these dates, so very pleased with the price and with the hotel - which I would highly recommend.
  10. Used the HOTWIRE link. Rental Agency: Alamo Car Class: Compact Car daily rate - Hotwire hot Rate: $5.95 Rental days: 8 Taxes and fees: $50.30 Trip total: $97.90 Got a Hotwire email to check on rental cars in Honolulu at a special $8.95 a day. Changed dates and it popped up at $5.95 a day, an unheard of price, so I locked it in. I hope everything is legit and that I am not denied a car on arrival. I have a confirmation for Alamo and Hotwire and my credit card has been charged. Hope it all works seamlessly!
  11. Just copied what was previously bid/accepted at this location and was hoping to get the Country Inn & Suites. My offer was accepted on the first bid but probably could have started lower. Travelocity price was $128 per night, so very pleased overall. As always, used the PRICELINE link. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $43.00 Subtotal: $86.00 Taxes & Fees: $18.32 Total Charges*: $104.32 What a Great Website!
  12. Booked this the night prior. Holiday Inn website had the AAA price listed at $135 a night Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $35.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $35.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $12.17 (USD) Total Room Cost: $47.17 (USD) Used the PRICELINE link PS Get a streetside room - the rooms facing the parking lot are subject to valets racing through the parking structure honking the car horns (for blind corners) which started at 5:30am and went on until 7:30am
  13. On the surface this sounds like a good deal. However, after checking the Aqua website I could have booked the 30 day advance non-refundable rate of $59.00 which totalled $67 and change. I should have conducted due diligence better. The lesson - Check all of your options before you lock it in! Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $56.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $56.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $15.51 (USD) Total Room Cost: $71.51 (USD) As always used the PRICELINE link.
  14. Booked this room the same night I needed it (about 5:00pm), about 2 hours before check-in. I think it was a reat deal. Started bidding at $25 for a 2.5* in Marietta and was denied. Added Kennesaw and raised bid to $30 for 3.0* and got Hyatt Place Galleria - a very nice and quiet property with a comp breakfast. The Hyatt website listed this property at an INTERNET ONLY rate of $104.00 Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $30.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $30.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $11.40 (USD) Total Room Cost: $41.40 (USD) Please note: This property is actually in Smyrna though listed as Marietta on Priceline. This property is about 10 miles from downtown Marietta. As always, I used the PRICELINE link on the BetterBidding site
  15. Four Points By Sheraton San Rafael San Rafael - Larkspur 1010 Northgate Drive San Rafael, California 94903 415-479-8800 Check-In Date: Sat, Feb 14, 2009 / After 03:00 PM Check-Out Date: Sun, Feb 15, 2009 / 12:00 PM Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $49.00 Subtotal: $49.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $13.11 Total Charges*: $62.11 Looks like a good deal compared to the hotel's website price of $105. Have heard mixed reviews on this place, but its only for 1 night. Used the PRICELINE link.
  16. Got it on the first try. Going for $109 on the Westin website, before taxes. Wanted something for New Years Eve and bid up to $40 for multiple areas, but figured New Years Day was just as good for our purposes. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $35.00 Subtotal: $70.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $17.81 Total Charges*: $87.81 Used the PRICELINE link on the website! Thanks BetterBidding, & Happy New Year!
  17. Started at $39 and added additional zones working up to $46. Wanted to stay in the Tigard/Hillsboro area, so this works out great. Congratulations, you got your price of $46 for a 2
  18. I got this place for a steal of $40 for 1 night through Priceline. First let me say that downtown Greenville is an amazing place to be a tourist, probably the best 'little' city that I have visited in the USA. The Hyatt Regency Greenville is pretty typical of most Hyatt properties with the indoor atrium, upscale amenities and very competent staff. My room was a king standard and everything was in working order, perfectly clean, and very comfortable. The bathroom however was quite small but again everything was clean and worked well. I prefer the outside rooms vice the ones overlooking the atrium for a better sense of privacy. I did not use the restaurant or other hotel facilities because there was so much to see and do right outside the hotel. The self-parking was adjacent to the hotel but inconvenient because access was through the lobby, out the doors and down the street to enter the garage and then up an elevator if you were not parked on the first level. The hotel is located on Main St. where all the action is. The downtown area has a European feel to it with excellent city planning, designed for walking, only a single lane of traffic, lots of green areas with benches, multiple restaurants and eateries with outdoor seating, public venues, and an exceptional city park with waterfalls, walking trails, picnic areas, etc. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
  19. Started looking for a 3* at $45, $48, $50 while adding zones, all rejected. Closed browser and re-started, looking for a 2.5* at $37, then $40 which was accepted and upgraded to a 3*. So I don't understand why my $50 bid for a 3* was rejected while my $40 bid for a 2.5* was accepted and upgraded to a 3*, but I'm obviously pleased. The internet rate on the Hyatt website is $139. Started with the SavingsBarn link. Your Offer Price: $40.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $40.00 Taxes and Service Fees: $11.58 Total Charges*: $51.58
  20. This is a new 2.5* property for this area, not listed on the Priceline Hotel list (please add). Got this on the first try, probably bid too high thinking this was the Residence Inn. Courtyard is an excellent property just without the breakfast but still very pleased overall. Marriott website listed the room at $89.00. Used SavingsBarn link to start. Your Offer Price: $49.00 Number of Rooms: 2 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $98.00 Taxes and Service Fees: $24.66 Total Charges*: $122.66
  21. First bid of $50 for Nashville Airport area was rejected. Added Nashville-Antioch re-bid of $55 was rejected. Added Opryland re-bid $58 was accepted. Did not see Doubletree on the the Priceline Airport zone. Was hoping for the Embassy Suites but the Doubletree is fine. Nashville Airport (BNA) 2424 Atrium Way Nashville, Tennessee 37214 615-889-8889 Check-In Date: Thu, Jun 28, 2007 / After 03:00 PM Check-Out Date: Sun, Jul 1, 2007 / 12:00 PM Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $58.00 Subtotal: $174.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $35.18 Total Charges*: $209.18 Used SavingsBarn.com. link
