Ended up getting the two night stay at 4 star Renaissance Hotel , midtown Atlanta for $100/night through PRICELINE bidding.

Just put in the followup post for my previous Atlanta hotel inquiry. As for the 3.5 star hotel in Buckhead, I believe I figured it out as the Embassy Suites, based on this site's Hotwire hotel list. Still a mystery for the 4.5 star hotel in Buckhead as the highest is a 4 star hotel in the lising. Could that be the Ritz Carlton? Thanks.

Well, I tried HOTWIRE again after an hour or two when the system wouldn't let me make the purchase, and the same hotel showed up but at $150 per night instead of $152. It probably was due to the system in the process of readjusting the rate! I committed to buy and it is Sofitel, as you suspected! I am pleased with the location and price as I will be attending a meeting a few blocks away at the Rittenhouse hotel, which is at $229/night, meeting rate. I actually also tried PRICELINE earlier using BiddingHelper.com, but stopped at $135 per night after 7 bids with your listed bidding strategy. Figured that I could have retried after twenty four hours wait, and if patient enough over the next week or two, could probably get a lower rate with PRICELINE as the date comes a bit closer. But with Sofitel almost a sure bet but only at least $60 difference between the two at this point, I decided to go ahead and commit. Thanks for the help.

I tried to book it. But after submitting the credit card information, the site said the hotel cannot be booked at this time. When I recheck the hotel list, the hotel was no longer listed.

My wife and kids needed a multiroom unit. Finally decided not staying at the King of Prussia area. My wife did stay at Crowne Plaze at King of Prussia before,and was quite pleased with the hotel.

Checked today, and the price jumped up to $64 per night :{. I did hope I would get Hotel Indigo; not willing to take the chance of another price hike with waiting, and took the plunge! Indeed it was Hotel Indigo Galleria with free parking....good thing as most hotels charge at least $10/night for parking. (4* hotels up to $18 per night parking). Got the reservation thru the HOTWIRE link on this site. Dates: 6-1-12 to 6-4-12 two rooms. Thanks for the guidance.

Hotwire is offering $60 per night for 3* Houston Galleria area hotel ($99 other sites) for stay 6/1/12-6/4/12. Also the average rates are in the $140 range. So this may not be the one. Any help with the ID of this hotel is appreciated.

Tried multiple bids on 4* Buckhead area hotel in Atlanta with multizone strategy. Finally got Westin Buckhead for $65 per night. Was hoping for Intercontinental where I had a good experience. Would be interesting to see how Westin compares!
