We really wanted this hotel...have stayed there 3 times before...huge rooms beautiful views, great big bathrooms. Location is not the most convenient, but in Tokyo you're going to be on the subway all the time anyway!

Might have been able to get it at $137 or so, but was worried about running out of rebids. The Intercontinental Tokyo Bay is a great hotel with HUGE rooms and monster bathrooms, especially for Tokyo. It isn't in the most convenient location, but if you want a comfortable accommodation, this place is for you.

Started bidding at $130 and worked my way up at $10 to $15 increments till this hit at $170. This hotel has an AWESOME location on the north end of the Ka'anapali boardwalk. If you want to snorkel, the Sheraton sits atop Black Rock, one of the most easily accessible snorkeling areas in the state.

Started bidding at $75 and used rebids to do $85 and then $90. Was actually bidding for a 3* and got "upgraded" by Priceline to this property. Total cost for 1 night: $107.70

Started bidding for 4* at $55. Used free rebids at 60, 65, and 70 until accepted. Total cost for 1 night: $87.58

Failed previously at $75 and $80....was accepted at $85. Grand total comes to $205.04 for 2 nights. Side note: My japanese speaking wife called the hotel and tried to negotiate our way into a better (bigger) room. We even offerred to pay a little extra. We were told that we would have to make up the difference between the priceline rate and the going rate... We have stayed at this hotel once before and it was very acceptable, with an excellent location and nice common areas (especially the free internet in the business center), but the rooms are small.

This appears to currently be the only 5* Priceline hotel in Japan. Started at $120 and was rejected. $125 and $130 also rejected. Decided to try for 3* just for kicks....first tried $45 and was counter-offerred $68. Opted instead to add Carson City as a free rebid and was accepted at $50. Also, where is the link to this BB's preferred click-through to priceline? One complaint I had about TOBB was that the b*tch n*zi demanded you go through anouther site when bidding, but the link was very difficult to find, despite the pages being littered with banners.

I have gotten this Hotel for $95 three separate times in the past 2 months for various family members. Had previously tried bids of $85 and $90. Here are the dates won: 3/7 to 3/12 4/16 to 4/26 5/10 to 5/15 Also: I too am fed up with that B**ch Naz* who runs TOBB. I will only be posting on this board from now on, but will be using them for data until we get up to speed over here. I appreciate this moderator's efforts and apparent good humor.
