  1. HI Aaron - I went to use the PRICELINE link here and also tried to use the 7% off Coupon Code 'TDW9GUK6' listed above in your message but it says it is no longer valid...is it expired or is there a different code to use? Thanks, Ted
  2. Thank you - that was my thought too...I will let you know if I decide to go for this one on Hotwire (it was up to $163 today so guess I better decide soon) or give Priceline a try!
  3. Sorry about that - we didn't use Hotwire on any of those previous trips so didn't think you would need the info on what we ended up doing but I replied to each of those threads with what we actually did. I am pretty sure we will be using either Hotwire or Priceline on this trip since it is Memorial Day weekend and the prices are really high everywhere so would appreciate any info you might have on this bid! Thanks, Ted
  4. We did not book through Hotwire on this trip....decided to go to New Orleans for that weekend and stayed at the Iberville Suites (no longer open) booking directly through them and stayed at the Beau in Biloxi for the comped nights
  5. We ended up booking directly with Disney for 2 night stay at Port Orleans (with a Florida Resident discount)
  6. We ended up not going that Thanksgiving weekend so did not follow through on this bid
  7. I don't see these exact amenities in the Hotwire List (the Pet Friendly is throwing me off) but here are all the amenities listed: Pet friendly, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business Center, Internet access, Accessible for the blind, Accessible for the deaf, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower Thanks for any help/advice you might have! Ted
  8. Haven't seen any hotels in this area with "Pet Friendly" so not sure if this is the Omni or Gaylord Palms or something else? Here are the amenities: Resort Free Internet Smoke Free Pet Friendly Restaurants Business Center Fitness Center Pools High Speed Internet Thanks, Ted
  9. Pretty happy to get this place on short notice today for this coming weekend (10/8 - 10/10) for $90 per night - here are the amenities: Resort 2 Bedroom Suite Fully-equipped Kitchen Free Parking Washer and Dryer in Room Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) 24-hour Front Desk High-Speed Internet Access Spa Services The 2 BR unit sleeps 6 (king bed in the master BR, 2 twins in the second BR and a Queen sleeper in the LR). We have 7 people going so I called their Res line and was able to upgrade to a 3BR unit (third BR has a king bed) for only $20 more a night. Thought that was a great deal so jumped on it ...so only $110 a night for a 3 BR (plus tax and the $9.95 per night resort fee)! Thanks for previous posts on this property to help me make the decision to go for this one! Ted
  10. I got this property for this coming weekend (10/8 - 10/10)...not quite as good a rate at $90 but still pretty happy with it! Will post the info in a seperate Hotwire hotel topic. Thanks, Ted
  11. I'm just curious how you got a 2 BR condo on Hotwire - I've never seen anything other than 1 BR come up...is t here a trick to it or just luck? Thanks, Ted
  12. Going to Biloxi for Labor Day weekend and staying at Beau Rivage on Sunday and Monday night but they are asking over $300 there for Saturday night (9/4) so decided to see what HOTWIRE had. They have a 3 star in Biloxi-Ocean Springs for $99 with the following amenities, but I don't seee anything like that on the current Hotwire hotel list here so hoping someone may know what it might be: Complimetary Breakfast Fitness Center Pool(s) Business Center Laundry High Speed Internet Thanks! Ted
  13. Hi - hoping someone can help identify a 4* hotel on St. Pete Beach for 11/27 - 11/29 listed at $85 with the following amenities: Resort Beachfront Fitness Center Pool Restuarant Business Center High Speed Internet Tennis Nearby Spa Childrens Activities I'm hoping for the Don Cesar but I'm thinking it may be the Tradewinds Grand? Thank you, Ted
  14. Thanks for responding Theruare but not sure where you got the idea tha I was looking at a 4* hotel? The hotel that came up was a 3.5*near MCO for $70, so I figure that it is most likely the Sheraton Suites but was hoping for the Hyatt (not very likely). In any case, I decided not to risk it and gave Priceline a try for that night. Started bidding at $35 and ended up adding $5 for each free rebid until I was succesful at $55, getting the Marriott at MCO. An OK deal I guess, though I have seen 3* hotels come up at MCO for the $35 - $40 range pretty regularly, so it must be a busy week there (end of Daytona Bike week I think). Ted
  15. Hello, I need a hotel near MCO for 1 night next Tuesday (March 8) and Hotwire came up with a 3.5 * hotel with the following 4 amenties: Restuarant, Pool, Fitness and Business Center. It is identified as a Customer Favorite and since no mention is made of a shuttle, I was hoping that this might by the Hyatt inside the airport, but that has been identified as having 5 amenities (these 4 plus Tennis) in the past and the Hyatt website states that the hotel is sold out for that night. Could it be the Hyatt or is it more likely the Sheraton Suites, even those these 4 amenties don't match up to those for the Sheraton either? Thanks for any insight anyone might have. Ted
