  1. Amenties: Restaurant, Swimming Pool, Fitness, Fax/Business Centre Vancouver Marriot Pinnacle Hotel 1128 West Hastings Street Vancouver, BC Stay Mar 14, 2003. $48.00 per night
  2. Amenties: Shuttle, Restaurant Holiday IN Vancouver, AP(Cambie) , 10720 Cambie Rd, Richmond, BC Stayed Mar 21, 2003. $39.00/night
  3. Amenties: Restaurant This is the Quality Inn Downtown, 1214 Crescent St. I stayed at this hotel quite a while ago. Jan 23, 2003. From what I remember, it was not too bad. It was in the middle of the Club district so there's lots of people on Friday night. It was not noisy from what I recall.
  4. There is a nice above ground parking lot almost beside the hotel that have high ceilings that can accomodate minvans with ski boxes.
  5. Oh I forgot, I booked two rooms. That may make the difference. :)
  6. I just double check my account and there is NO pool icon for sure, there was only 3 icons when I booked. It did NOT have a customer favourite disignation at all when I booked. I was suprise to find it was the Inter-Continental. I thought it would be the Sofitel.
  7. I have been to this hotel 3 years ago and I think this hotel should rate a 3* not just 2.5*.
  8. Amenities: Restaurant, Fitness, Business Centre This was NOT a customer favourite. It did not list a pool either. Booked for 3 nights from Jun30 to July 3, 2004 @ $92 per night Inter-Continental Chicago 505 North Michigan Ave This should be just north of the river.
  9. Restaurant, Swimming, Fitness, Fas/Bus Centre. Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill, $74 a night. Booked Mar 27-28, 04. A nice 3 1/2 stars hotel. A Short 5-10min wall to the Capitol or Union Station. Valet parking is $30 per night. We were lucky and found street parking for the whole weekend behind the hotel! Save $60 at least. The lobby is one escalator ride down, but there is an elevator to the left of the front doors if you have luggage or a stroller. This elevator is mainly for the restaurant on top of the hotel. There was a rumble sound I hear at nights every minute or so, I never found out what caused it. The Old Town Trolley stops in front of the hotel, which is convenient. I walked from the Smithsonian Natural History Museum also, and it took about 15/20 mins with a stroller. I would stay here again.
  10. Restaurant, Swimming, Golf, Laundry. Booked Mar 26, 04. $47 a night. Ask for a room not facing the highway, otherwise it is a bit noisy from the traffic. Not as nice as other 3 stars hotels I stayed in.
  11. So there is no rhyme or reason as to when it would be cheapest, morning, afternoon or night to book? We usually book hotels in the $40-60 range, so even a $5 change would make a difference. I see on various forums that people say that Priceline is much better than Hotwire. One reason is that people say sometimes Hotwire price are actually higher than on the hotel's web site. This maybe the case for booking hotels on Hotwire that are over $100, but I find that when we book our hotels ($40-60 range), we usually get very good deals, at least half off what people are walking in off the street are getting.
  12. Thanks for the link to www.tripadvisor.com. It looks useful.
  13. Hi, just want to confirm for March 26-28, $63 per night per room for 2 rooms, 3* with Restaurant, Fitness, Hi Speed and Business Centre is per Hotwire List is the 3* Wyndham Washington DC, Restaurant, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business Center? Just that the list don't put the Wyndham Washington DC in the DuPont Circle area. Is this a nice hotel?
  14. Most of the time I see the same hotel (same area and amenities) change price for the same period of booking if you look at it in the morning, afternoon and night. Why is that?
  15. The listing on Hotwire had no Amenities listed at all before or after purchase. I looked today and this hotel seems to be listed currently with Hotwire. Would I stay at this hotel again? I'm not sure. We have two kids and that is why I ask for two beds. If you where just a couple, then this would be a good choice.
  16. This was a while ago. No Amenties. We stayed for two nights @ $31 per night and total taxes was $12.95. This was a basic and clean motel. Very new. This remind me of a Microtel. We had asked for two double beds after I booked on the computer. The gentlemen said okay, but when we got there, they said it would be extra $20 per night. We argue and finally, after I talked to a different receptionist, they did give us the room with the extra bed for no charge. 3315 Univeristy Dr.
  17. This was a while ago. Amenities: Restaurant, Fitness Centre, Fax/Business Centre 1260 Euclid Ave This was a nice hotel. Parking not included. We used a lot across the street.
  18. This was a while ago. Amenities: Suite, Restaurant, Fitness Centre, Hi Speed Internet, Fax/Busness Centre Great Deal. Very nice room. 50 South Front St.
  19. Amenties: Shuttle, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness Centre Good location at 2040 Walden Ave, in Cheektowaga. Just walk across the parking lot to go to Walden Galleria, the biggest mall in the area. The Hotel interior was tired and need a renovation. I would give it a 2 1/2* at best, maybe even 2* only.
  20. Hi, this is my first post. Great idea for a website! Amenties: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness Centre, Fax/Business Centre We been to this hotel at least 2 times before via Hotwire. It is located at 5500 Crooks Rd, Troy. Close to Somerset Mall. We had a problem with a noisy convention one time, but they gave us two free nights voucher to make up for the two noisy nights. They had a big renovation last year. The fees and taxes for the two nights are $18.95.
