I had tried bidding again less than 24 hours so I guess it reset it. But it said it would be 24 hours from my ORIGINAL bid so I didn't think anything of it. First bid I believe was $40 for a 3 star...2nd bid was $45 and I added 2 1/2* and it was rejected also. Any idea on what the 3 star and 2 1/2* are? I am going to try again at about 430AM when I get off of work. I can't stay anywhere really besides Salinas cause where I am actually going is Soledad. And that is the closest city I believe.

I am trying to bid for Salinas, CA 11/7-11/8 and it has been more than 24 hours since I first submitted my original bid and it is not letting me bid again it is still saying duplicate request and I need to wait 24 hours but it's been 24 hours. Any help?

This was for the one on California Ave. Very dissapointed with this hotel. Seemed very outdated, Very small room, Rough squeaky bed. I was so unhappy with it I went and stayed at another hotel.

Had to cancel this trip so I never got to bid.

Great sports restaurant, Comp breakfast, mini bar. Not far from freeway so it is easy to get on and off if traveling through. Impressed!! I live in bakersfield and if you are not familiar with the place the 4 points Sheraton Bakersfield it is a nicer hotel with nice grounds and rooms. For $49 on a weekend that's an awesome deal! :)

Can anyone give me an idea on what price to bid and what chain hotels I may get if I bid in salinas, ca? Looking to bid only $45 each night for a friday and saturday night Oct. 24th and 25th 2008. If my bid price is not accepted how can I bid on the same star rating hotel at the same price?

There are only 1 and 2 star's listed in the name your price. Also in the list you said to look at there is nothing for Pismo Beach. Any help on what hotels are normally given there? I seen in just a normal search for priceline it came up with Sandcastle and Spyglass which are listed as 2 star but in my personal opinion I have staryed at bother before and give them both great rating. This Saturday night about $65. ANy help would be appreciated. Thanks!! :)

Anyone ever gotten sandcastle. best western shelter cove, spyglass, dolphin bay etc? Going this weekend staying only Sept 6 ( Saturday) Wondering what to expect and what type of price. Any help is greatly appreciated

First bid was $99 declined. second was $125 and got the Omni from Feb 24-28th 2007. Room is nice but got a non smoking room that smells bad of smoke. They brought in a purifier but it still smells of cig smoke. Yet not bad for the $. Directly across from convention center. Just walk across the street outside lobby and you are there. Walking to Gaslamp district and shops and restraunts and the Midway Naval ship tour. Waverunner rentals within walking distance as well. Rooms are nice and clean
