Started bidding at $60 for Lake Oswego, then added Beaverton for $62, then added Hillsboro for $65 and got the Courtyard Marriott Hillsboro.

Hotels in Lake Oswego seem to have higher prices now compared to a couple of years back.

Got it for $60. I had to change the date from June 28 to 29th as my bidding was unsuccessful for June 28th.

Stayed at this hotel before and it is really nice. I started with $60 and was successful. May be able to start lower.

It's definitely not too early for these date/s - rates really do vary seasonally and from day-to-day. If you are up to $70 though, I do see a 3* in the Lake Oswego zone on HOTWIRE for $61 for these dates.

I'm trying to stay away from Phoenix Inn Tigard if I can.

I am bidding for a 3* hotel in Lake Oswego, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Wilsonville area.  I already bid up to $70 and still no go.  Is it too early to bid or have the hotels increased their prices?  I've gotten as low as $55 for hotels in these areas before.

Also, I noticed that when I bid in PL, it shows the price as CAD $.  So does this mean it will charge your credit card in Canadian?  I remember before, it was always in USD.  I'm in Canada by the way.

Woohoo!  Finally pulled the trigger after endless questions on id'ing the hotel.  Was debating if I should do the 2.5 stars with free breakfast but had a feeling that the location is not as good for that compared to this one.  It is a bit over my budget but what the heck.  You are in New York!

Thanks for the reply.  Actually, any hotel (that will not break the bank) in Manhattan is good, but we're 4 people (3 adults, 1 child).  For PL, I think it's only based on 2 people right?  Any advice how to get 2 double beds in a room?
