  4. I started bidding for the minivan at $28 up to $32. No go... Then yesterday, Priceline sent me a $3/day bonus cash. So bid at $33 which essentially is a $36 with the bonus cash. This is for Las Vegas - Hertz minivan - 4 days. Offer Price Summary Bonus Cash Per Day: $3.00 (USD) (per day) Your Offer Price Per Day: $33.00 (USD) (per day) Total Offer Price with Bonus: $36.00 (USD) (per day) Your Offer Price: $33.00 (per day) Total Rental Days: 4 days Subtotal: $132.00 Taxes and Fees: $83.06 Total Charges: $215.06 Lowest Published Price: $445.55 (USD) Total Savings:* $230.49 (USD) (You saved 52%) I used the PRICELINE link from betterbidding before but I used the PRICELINE link from the bonus cash email for this bid. Don't know if you can still use the bonus cash if you go in from the betterbidding's PRICELINE link (?) Also, the bonus cash is only valid for 1 day... Rate at hotwire was from 33.95 - 35.95. But total fees and taxes seem to be more compared to PL.

  10. Stayed August 29, 2010. We won Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach via Priceline bidding for $55. No mention of PL during check-in. We were given a room on the 6th floor at the South Tower. I think this is newer compared to the other tower. The room is really nice. I requested for 2 double beds beforehand and they accommodated my request. The room has a nice view of the beach. It has a contemporary look. Everything is new including an lcd tv. It has coffee maker. The hotel lobby is very nice. They have a small coffee shop where you can purchase hot/cold beverages as well as some danish/pastries for breakfast. There is free internet. There were 4 computers there if you don't have your laptop with you. Be prepared to wait though if it gets busy. They allow 45 minutes for each session. Location is nice if you like the beach area. Beach is outside the hotel. A few minutes walk to get to Las Olas Blvd. No free breakfast and no free shuttle though. The taxi from this hotel to Port Everglades cruise ship costed us $8.10. (Taxi from port to FLL airport costed us $16.50). I would love to get this hotel again. We really enjoyed our stay there.
  11. We booked Royal Plaza via their website for $59. At that time, they were having web promo with 50% off resort fees. So instead of the usual $8/day, it was $4/day. Location is good in that you have easy bus access to buses going to Disney. Hotel itself was okay. Not impressive but can't complain with the price. Concierge was nice and helpful.
  12. Successfully bid Sheraton Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel - 8/28 - 8/29/2010. Started with FFL - Airport at 50, then added Hollywood zone at 52, then added Fort Lauderdale Beach area and won it at $55. Total came to $68.95. Thanks BB. Hopefully hotel is nice. :) Oh, and I used the PRICELINE link you provided. :)

  23. Hi, I updated my previous post. Also, I checked at the Fairfield Inn, the Courtyard and the Embassy Suites and all are full for that day! I guess it's because of Thanksgiving. I came across a weekend deal in La Quinta's website for that area for $59/nt so booked that instead. Thanks.
  24. Tried it and was not successful. Booked directly with the Best Western hotel instead as they offered 1 week free parking (similar to park and ride) for a 1 night stay. Thanks.
