  1. Accepted on first try. Thanks to everyone who posted their previous bids, made the bidding process a breeze.
  2. Caption says it all, first bid at $35 accepted. Perfect for early am flight.
  3. Moderator - If this is the wrong place to post, please move it. Not sure how long this sale will last, but if you can use it is really cheap if you can use it. The schedule seems to be wide open. go to Delta site.
  4. Not all Hyatts have club floors, the ones that do are called Regency Club floors. Of the ones that do, access to the Regency Club will be for Diamond Gold Passport members or sometimes the check in will give you a RC room. Always when checking in give your Gold Passport card eventhough you will not get points or stay credit on PL, but incidentals will give points. Also the front desk will sometimes upgrade your room if you are a GP member. The Boston Harborside does not have a Regency Club though. Any other questions, just ask.
  5. I haven't tried the "off the record" approach yet. If anyone else has, please post.
  6. dahammer- Sorry to hear of your bad experience with ECT, but it seems identical to mine without the snow and bad weather of course. I feel the same way toward ECT and use their website as a negotiation tool against the hotel chains that guarantee the lowest rate or will match with some sort of bonus. In my situation, to their credit, I did receive the credit on my CC statement immediately.
  7. Sorry, the amenities listed were: Airport shuttle; Breakfast; Pool: Fitness Center; Business Center and Laundry facilities. By the way, this was the first time I used Hotwire. since I am fairly familiar with the hotels at MCO, i had a pretty good idea what the choices were.
  8. What was wierd was the ECT agent said the Marriott was full, but I checked with the Marriott website and it showed availability at $244/night. I don't think I was walked that early in the day, I think ECT had problems with their site. I don't think I had a Marriott reservation number. I did have a res. number and record locator number, but I think it was ECT. I also have heard nothing back from ECT since.
  9. Very nice, relatively small (6 floors) hotel located about 2 miles from interstate near Magic Mountain. Not much in the area except for shopping and restaurants. The whole street where hotel was located had the same facade and colors and was abit strange. Inside the hotel was excellent, decent sized rooms in typical Hyatt fashion. Good restaurant in hotel, with free paarking across the street. No mention of PL , excellent value oat $51+. Would stay there again if I was in area, but a real hike from LA.
  10. After having EasyClick reservation cancelled, (see Run of House) won the Wingate for $46+. Made on the same day as stay.
  11. I had tried to PL a room at MCO airport for Feb. 10. After numerous rejected bids, I went EasyClick and found the MCO Marriott for $69 plus taxes, $83 total. Since the Marriott page showed the hotel at over $200, I booked it on Feb. 6 for the stay on the 10th. The afternoon of the 10th I received a call from EasyClick, though another service name was used, telling me that the reservation would not be honored by Marriott, eventhough I had paid and had a confirmation from EasyClick. They told me the Marriott was full and they would allow me to stay at the Amersuites for the same price or I could have a refund. While the rep. was pleasant, he was not particularly helpful. I checked on Hotwire and booked a room at the Wingate Inn MCO for $46+ total of $53. Called Easyclick back and asked for refund and was told my CC would be credited. No confirmation no. etc. While it worked out well for me, others could have a problem with EasyClick. While I know it supports this board, I feel obligated to tell others of my experience.
  12. There is no advantage using different emails. The problem was I couldn't sign in with the regestered email. The message was the password wasn't valid and when I asked for an email it wouldn't send it. The only way to make thr reservation was to register again with a different email.
  13. Tried to PL a stay, usually $35-$50 will win bid at Marriot, Renaissance, Crowne Plaza, or Holiday Inn Express. Rejected all bids up and including $62+ fees. Went to EasyClick and found Marriott MCO for $69+, $83 total. Cheaper than PL but Easyclick is a pain in the butt to use. Kept having to resign up with different emails.
  14. Won on first try. Trying to find room for Fri. and Sat. Bid up to $145 and PL countered with 202-296 during various bids. Will keep trying and will post results when successful. (Wishful thinkng).
  15. Total all in is $40. Best rates online using upgrades, discount, cert., etc. was $54. Savings will pay for gas. Original bid was $12/day, rejected but gave free rebid, so rebid at $14/day.
  16. I booked this for a friend. Cheapest rate at Hyatt.com was $153. Got this on first try. Probably could have started at $40 but... Sorry won't be able to post review. Oh, and by the way, 1 year member, Happy Anniversary to me :)
  17. Snagged this on first try. Will post reveiw after stay. If this is posted in wrong location, please feel free to move to appropriate spot. Stay credit and FFN credit at Hyatts for Pricelline stays end 2/28/05.
  18. Not a duplication, just followed everyone else and got it on first bid.
  19. Prices depend on dates in March. May be Spring Break. Wait and keep trying. Please state the place in Florida as that would help.
  20. Played around for a while, got full size @$17/day for 3 days. $74 inclusive of taxes and fees. Bid accepted by Hertz. Best rates were $99 inclusive with upgrade/free day coupons from the majors. Savings should pay for some cheesesteaks!
  21. Game has been discontinued as of this pm.
  22. Stayed the weekend for PL rate of $60/night. Impressive lobby, large convention type hotel with indoor pool, two restaurants. Good breakfast restaurant. The hotel is located about 20 min. from airport across the street from Fairlane Shopping Center. Room was fairly large and quite comfortable. Staff was exceedingly nice, from checkin to restaurants to valet parking. Also free parking available. Very nice stay and would gladly stay there again especially at PL rate.
  23. congrats. When does she start posting? :)
  24. Going to see the Mummers and hopefully the Eagles. First try, accepted at $45. Thanks for the postings, made the bid very easy!
  25. Several of the large hotels in Dyatona Beach are closed due to hurricane repairs. The Adams Mark, and Hilton are closed. There really isn't much going on here on before Thangsgiving. I would just call several hotels and check for their rates. The Adams Mark and Hilton are the only 4* hotels in the area, numerous 3* up and down the beach. Again if you need help PM me.
