  3. $100, $110, $120, won at $130. Hotel was $146 on Priceline express. Used link.
  4. Amenities: Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Spa Services Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower Used HOTWIRE link.
  5. Rejected at $20, rebid 24 hours later for $24 and accepted. Total cost $265. Hotwire coming up $314 for a Midsize, Hertz website lists it at $450 so not a bad deal. Used the PRICELINE link.
  6. On your budget and for that length of stay I would find a good B&B or independent hotel and try and negotiate a rate with them.
  7. Split my bid, these two days were the most expensive. Used PRICELINE link.
  8. Decided to split my bid over the Victoria day long weekend, 22-24 was significantly cheaper than the 20-22. Price came in $10/night below Hotwire. Used PRICELINE link.
  9. $7 + $5 bonus cash for a total of $95. About $30-$50 cheaper than HOTWIRE or other sites. Used PRICELINE link.
  10. $130 + $10 bonus cash. Used PRICELINE link. Tripadvisor reviews mixed, but emailed the GM and she upgraded me to a suite with 2 beds. It's worth contacting the GM if you have concerns before your stay I think.
  11. Neither city has PRICELINE bidding at this time. hotelscombined.com is a good starting point for direct hotel searches.
  12. First bid of $55 accepted. Used PRICELINE link. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: US$55.00 Subtotal: US$55.00 Taxes & Fees: US$15.38 Total Charges: US$70.38
  13. $95 + $10 bonus cash. Bid up from $75. Used PRICELINE link.
  14. Could you confirm if this is a 4* or 5* hotel as rated by PL? Good luck getting home. Thanks
  15. Bidding is done per room, and the room will sleep 2 people (either 1 or 2 beds... decided upon by the hotel).
  16. Bid up from $120 in $5 increments. Slightly pricier than I wanted, but London worked out cheaper than expected so it all averages out :) Used PRICELINE link.
  17. Thought I started out low at $125, but was accepted with my first offer. I'm happy :) Used PRICELINE link.
  18. I would also email Priceline and inquire if that's legit. Logically services like internet access are fixed costs, not variable based on your room rate. If there not included they should be optional (hence taking them out..) not just added on after.
  19. Bribe William Shatner? Create a new thread and we can help you with a strategy. Since the OP accepted a counteroffer, its possible he/she could of got it for ~$150 or less.
  20. Bidding isn't available for Jasper/Lake Louise or Banff. I would keep an eye on travelzoo.ca or Fairmonts Great Rates Great Dates or check Flyertalk.com Hotel Deals section to see if the Fairmont Friends and Family rate is extended to next summer. Unless there's a special event going on in Vancouver or Edmonton during your stay, I doubt you would have any problems bidding a couple weeks before you leave.
  21. Sorry, amenities: Boutique Hotel Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Restaurant(s) High-speed Internet Access
  22. Used PRICELINE Link. Started at $80 + $10 bonus cash, rejected. Bid $85 + $10 Bonus cash for total bid of $95.. EDIT: Hotel should say Hyatt Regency Century Plaza - cut off a word :)
