  1. Thank you, the BiddingHelper.com tool was fantastic in listing amenities. A question, is there any way in the future to show wins in a finer detail than just "Canada", even if it was by province with major cities and then "other". For example, for the province of Ontario it could have Toronto, Ottawa, London and other. Thanks DB
  2. Used the BiddingHelper.com tool as PRICELINE EXPRESS website was not showing amenities. 3* Pets Allowed Free Parking Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities
  3. Listed as a 2.5 star with breakfast, wifi and a few things more (sorry not listed any more) $55 per night saves us $25-$30 per night versus booking directly with hotel.
  4. Hello, can anyone identify a 3* that is listed on Hotwire. A great price at 51% off - Hotwire - 3* in St. Catherine's Ontario Canada - May 4th to the 5th - 95% recommended - $45 Amenities: Free parking , Free internet Thanks! Doug
  5. Used the link on this site to book through Priceline. checked out Hotwire, Hotels.com and didn't like the offerings. No priceline 3* in Gilroy so chose Morgan Hill and chose 3*. Bid $65 no luck, $75 no luck so bid $85 and won. Courtyard Morgan Hill
  6. Hello there and thanks for the help. I'm driving from San Fran on Sept 5 and returning the car at LAX on Sept 17th. A friend is doing the same trip in reverse on slightly different days and has managed to score a deal on the Dollar website for about $350 for 12 days...which includes a $50 drop off fee. Every site I check is anywhere from $800 (with Costco member discount at Avis) to $1500 for a midsize. I've heard you can bid on one way car rentals on PRICELINE but any bidding suggestions? I've only ever used this site to bid for hotels. Thanks ! Doug
  7. We were looking to travel to Montreal for a vacation and looking for a 4*. We checked out Hotwire first and this site, and it looked like for $77 we could get an un-named hotel that would probably be the Sheraton Reading the information on this site and recent bids, it looked like if we bid in the $60 range on Priceline, it would most likely be the Sheraton and if not....then one of the other 4* in Montreal. We've stayed at the Sheraton and like it but for $17 savings per night (Priceline bid vs Hotwire fixed rate) we'd thought we'd try bidding $60 and if we got another 4*.....so be it, we'd save some money. Well on our first PRICELINE bid of $60 we won, it was the Sheraton so versus HOTWIRE, we saved $17 a night times 4 nights, and a great deal much more money versus other sites. Thanks Better Bidding !
  8. I was looking for a 4* in Montreal for July 4-8th (prime jazzfest season). Started the bid at 70, 75, 80, and finally won at $85. Thanks for running a great site. The price through other hotel sites was around $200 per night.
  9. Naples is expensive and I've been working on this for a couple of weeks. Could not get any bid for a 2.5* in Naples / Ft Myers Beach etc, accepted up to $140. Tried 2* starting at $75 in all zones except the airport and this was the first bid accepted.
  10. I'm attending a conference at this hotel where the published rate is $179, the conference rate is $129. Bid it up over a couple of weeks from $40, not sure if I would get the Hilton or not but lucked out at $58 a night. Thanks BetterBidding.com !!
  11. Thanks for all the information on this. It does look like the Westgate Lakes which gets horrible reviews on TripAdvisor. I ended up booking a condo through Ebay for someone who could not use their timeshare and was trying to cover their maintaince fees. $425 for Cypress Point for a week.
  12. FYI in Hotwire, the address I searched on was a hotel close to 32819, which is where the conference is being held at the Wyndam on International Drive thanks

  16. I am visiting the Universal Studios area for a training course (on my own dime). I visited Priceline to get a feel for what they had in the area then went to Hotwire. Hotwire came up with a 3 star condo in Universal /Seaworld area. It's a 3 out of 5 rating with 80+ traveller reviews and the price is $53 per night for early March, 5 nights.
