I'm going to try my first Hotwire car rental bid. I have used HW numerous times for hotels. My question is, once I get to the counter to pick up my car, do I have any say at all as far as which one? For instance, once a rental co tried to give me a PT Cruiser, and another time a VW Beetle, both of which were a bit too funky for the business trip I was on. So I was able to ask if they had anything more subtle, and they were happy to switch me to something else in the same class. Do you have the same type of wiggle room through HW, or are you definitely locked into an exact car they happen to have sitting around? Thanks! David
