Maybe you should contact Priceline, to see if you can get at least part of your money back. Maybe at least they'll drop them from their list if they don't improve conditions. ~JS

Actually, it use to be Park Inn Suites. AmeriSuites is now Hyatt Place, which is just down 494, both ways. ~JS

It use to be the Clarion Airport. It also is the better of the two La Quinta's. The other LQ use to be a Baymont. So if LQ says its the suites, then its the old Clarion. ~JS

3.5*, interesting. I got it on PRICELINE a while ago at 3*. I remember when I checked in that the person next to me was checking in with a HOTWIRE rate. ~JS

Cocoa beach, on the other hand, you'll get near the sand. I would be wary of a 2* with few amenties listed, because you might get stuck in a dump next to I-95. The more amenties listed, you have a better chance of getting a decent hotel. ~JS

I would say, keep an eye on my bid, to see how mine goes, and use that as a guide.. Also, play around with HOTWIRE to see what price you come up with. Using the links of course :) ~JS

I tried all the way up to $57 today for a 3 *, despite wanting to stay under $50. I'll try the old strategy for a 2 1/2* tomarrow, maybe. ~JS

You're on an American board (the admin is from the US), it is pretty much the standard on the web, so its best to just get over it. ~JS

Top is $50 for the 3*. While, bidding less is better. I certainly would like a 3*, since it would likely be next to the ocean. ~JS

I say if they bend you over for some more bucks, then its a resort. If they don't, then it likely isn't a resort. So are you going to bid to see if you're going to get it or not?? ~JS
