Last minute deal, but a really good deal indeed. Glad I got this hotel because of the free breakfast! First bid was $35, then Priceline tried to offer a room for $41. Didn't want that, went back, added Allen/McKinney and rebid for $38, and got it.
Went through the betterbidding.com PRICELINE link to book. Started with $51, rejected. Added Airport ICT and raised bid to $61, rejected. Added Wichita South and raised bid to $71 and got accepted. Had to raise bid $10 at a time as my husband was driving toward Wichita that night and needed a place to stop. I only had three chances so I was glad the last bid was accepted. Holiday Inn online reservation showed the same room was $91 that night. Not half off, but still saved $20!
First bid $35 Westchase only -- rejected. Then added Katy and raised price to $39 -- accepted. I am really pleased because including fees and taxes, total for two nights comes to $99.
