Definitely happy! Just a note for any future Woodlands goers, I’ve stayed in every 4 star property in the area. This one is the best with the CityPlace Marriott in a close second place due to their lack of hot tub. The Hyatt Centric is beautiful and quirky but the rooms are very small and the pool is positioned in such a manner that it blocks out the sun so there is no getting a tan by the pool there. The floor of the hot tub is also very rough. Hope it helps future travelers narrow it down!

What makes you think the Embassy Suites one is that one and not the Westin? I was considering pulling the trigger on the PRICELINE link but I will be really sad if we end up at the Westin - lol.
They’re both really good hotels so it’s a tough decision lol. Will update when I make a decision, hopefully tonight while the coupons on the header are still good! Thank you!
Would you guess this one to be Marriott Woodlands Waterway? .

Showing $120 for me!
I booked the one listed below and it was correct. They did allot only one bed for 3 people - my kids were too lazy to change rooms and one slept on the floor but thought I would point it out for those who aren't willing to compromise a second bed - be aware you may need to request two beds specifically.
Looking for help IDing the 3.5 star in Overland Park/Leawood for tonight.
1 adult 2 kids. Prefer a balcony, need an indoor pool
open to Priceline options too they’re just more complicated for me to decode lol
I ended up booking the Ravel direct this time! Just wanted to follow up on my thread so it could be closed out.
Looking for recommendations for next month. Definitely a 3 star or better. Prefer a view and hoping to stay as far under $120 a night all in as possible. No shared bathroom. Have tickets to see Hamilton so due to the cold weather we were considering staying in Manhattan but open to something nice in LIC as well. The Ravel is a personal favorite of mine as is the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Manhattan WTC is on the wishlist if there is anything similar. Near subway access is important.
I have been very busy lately and not as able to do the research I like to do!
Thanks for the tip! I need to pop over and start a New York thread as I am extremely late since my stay is 3 weeks from today
I was aware and I wasn’t unhappy cause I’m not a big breakfast person but I try to throw in a little feedback for the next guest because sometimes you never know what details could’ve swayed you to splurge on something just a little more expensive that would’ve been a better fit 🙂
overall I will probably return to aloft leawood despite the things I mentioned! Definitely wanted to point out the closed indoor pool since it could definitely be a dealbreaker for someone looking to swim 🙂
Free parking (it's a parking garage too)
Free breakfast (I think this is a lie though, last time I stayed there we checked and it wasn't so this time i didn't check)
Pets allowed
Fitness center
Shuttle
No Smoking
Free internet
Pool (it is closed though indefinitely)
I am much better at decoding Hotwire - haha
I know this is the Priceline forum but since we are still discussing the same trip. I see a 3 star in Overland Park-Merriam for $51 a night that appears to be the Holiday Inn OPW I initially referenced. Would you mind confirming? Shows 553 reviews.
i will create a thread in the Hotwire section if I go that route!
also thanks for the warm welcome back - believe it or not I am still playing chicken with hotel rooms for your part of the country in about 4 wks
Hi!! Long time no post, I ended up doing a direct booking for my last couple business stays. I’m still shopping for a room for tomorrow in the Overland Park area. Just wanting to confirm that the 2.5 star listed as a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal (mine shows $46 for a queen and $54 for a suite) you’d bet is Holiday Inn Overland Park west. I was planning to book the other express deal for the Aloft which I have previously booked but I am planning to wrap all my Christmas presents on this trip so thought the $10 cheaper price and much larger room may be a huge benefit. Thanks for your help.
I highly don’t recommend Queens County Inn & Suites personally. A friend stayed there in September and moved twice before going to another hotel.
i highly recommend the Ravel in the area or literally any of the 4 stars in LIC. The Wingate is brand new too
I was hoping to find something decent in the $70ish range. Any guesses on what ththe Overland Park 3 star is on Priceline?
Looking for some suggestions Hotwire or Priceline. Having trouble finding anything that looks like a great deal to me this time. Prefer Olathe/leawood/Overland Park area but would do crown center or country club plaza in Missouri
9/20-9/22 1 adult 2 kids. Indoor pool would be nice but not required. Prefer 3+ stars but good ratings and no bugs is a must

Just wanted to add since I didn’t see it specifically stated that even the % coupons from Hotwire are usually capped at $50
