Trump is in North vicinity - I confirmed it last weekend.

Yes Trump is now in it's own zone - North vicinity. Last weekend I bid for north+south up to I think 130 without success. After that I added North vicinity reduced my bid and got Trump at I think $110. Thumbs up to PL for making the distinction!

If you need an inexpensive backup, Holiday Inn Resort Area (and not the other two) is usually $79 AAA rate and the property is quite decent (hate their beds though). Other HIs in the area are dumps.

Congratulations! It is impressive especially considering recent run up in PL prices. I do the same midweek in OC (as it ends up being cheaper than renting an apartment close to my work) and mix PL with occasional point promotions from regular stays. I doubt I would be able to handle it every day though. Good luck!

Paying $80+ is not worth it IMHO. You'll end up paying US$110+ and the regular prices for Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn and others are in that ballpark anyway (at least that was the case for me a few days ago).

Interesting, renohilton.com was showing availability yesterday (when I bid) for $129. However I was able to get it in the past while it was showing as sold out. I assume PL inventory is not always instantly updated. Nice place (for Reno) - I hope they stay with stay with Hilton a little bit longer...
