  1. Cheers Aaron and she did go for the 4.5* for $85 which was the Kimpton. Thanks again.
  2. Cheers again Aaron. But this is actually just for my wife who’s looking for somewhere close to work for the night, and her work is close to Ogilvie train station. Appreciate the feedback and I’ll be looking for another room for the Friday 21st when we all head in to Chicago for the night.
  3. We ended up choosing the 4 star Mag Mile/Water tower HW option for $161and it did turn out to be the Ambassador which was excellent.
  4. Searched for West Loop - UIC, on the 18th December and there's a 3.5 * hotel, which is giving the best guess as Crowne Plaza. It comes up as $75.45 with Hotwire Express and here are the amenities: Restaurant, Fitness, Smoke Free, Free Internet, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Handicapped Parking, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly There are some other hotel suggestions given but just wondering if anyone thinks if the best guess as Crowne Plaza is most likely.
  5. Hi Aaron, Obviously 2 double beds would be much more preferable given our kids are getting older and bigger. And I’d like to keep it in Mag Mike/Gold coast/River north area if possible, and preferably 100-200 for the night. Hi Guys, I'm actually looking to book in again to Chicago this coming Thursday, the 19th, but this time it will be with 2 kids. So I was just wondering how reliable it is to use the service when we definitely need the 2 double beds. I used your helper and got two 4 * choices in the Mag Mile area on HW for 122/night and one for 161/night. The best guess for the 161 is the Ambassador and there are a few choices for the 122/night. So just wondering if you have an idea what that hotel might be but more importantly whether it's reliable to use HW to ensure that we get at least 2 double beds for us on Thursday? Thanks.

  7. Aaron, thanks very much for the advice and you were bang on, it was the W Chicago for $77/night, which is perfect. Thanks again! Great service this website provides.
  8. Correct it is for 1 night only and I'm only now finalising the night. Just noticed, using your bidding helper tool, a 104/night 4.5* in Mag Mile area, but wondering if this might be the Westin (Restaurant, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Golf, Spa, Childrens Activities, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Wheelchair Accessible, Roll-in Shower, Pet Friendly). Because if it is, when I searched the reviews on TripAdvisor, there is an option to book this hotel for a straight 124/night, which would end up cheaper than booking through HW and PL. I suppose if I'm looking for best option, then booking directly for that price would be decent if the Westin is a respectable hotel. I'd hate to choose the HW 104/night and then end up paying more than I could actually get it elsewhere.
  9. Cheers AaronJB for geting back to me so quickly. Just wondering what you think the following hotel might be for $129 - 4* Theater District - Loop on Hotwire Boutique hotel Business center Fitness center Golf nearby Internet access Pet friendly Restaurant(s) Self-service laundry Smoke-free rooms Thanks
  10. The 4* Hotwire Hotel ($110) has the following amenities: Business center, Fitness center, Golf nearby, Indoor pool(s), Internet access, Pet friendly, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Smoke-free So just from previous posts looks like it might be the Hyatt Centric(?), although I now see another 4* in same area for 139/night. But just wondering if anyone knows what the 4.5* Priceline hotel ($140) might be which has the following : Free Internet, Bed Choice, Business Center, Fitness Center, Non Smoking, Pets Allowed, Restaurant, Swimming Pool Just wondering if the extra $30 might be worth it.
