I checked MY ACCOUNT and it does list Tennis nearby, however Tennis did not show as an amenitie on the original booking screen. Self-parking at Avia is $16. I always use the above links to shop and book.
Got Avia Savannah for three nights at $111, total price $391.63. Amenities: Botique, Smoke Free, Fitness Center, Pools, Restaurant, Business Center,High Speed Intenet & Golf nearby. Trip Advisor rating 4.5/5.
After reviewing this board, I was fairly sure it was Avia because Avia is the only 4* listed as a Botique. Thanks for your help.
This works great. Do you have to become a Club member for $49.99 a year in order to book a hotel on Last Min. Travel?
Thanks for the post. Can you please confirm that there was also a Hi-Speed Internet icon associated with this property... you can still view this information by going to HOTWIRE and clicking the MY ACCOUNT link near the top right of their home page.
THANKS!
Yes, this property has a Hi-Speed Internet icon, sorry I missed that. The property was very nice but the corner room I was given was very small and no place to put your luggage. They claimed they only have one room per floor with two beds. At check in I was given a card for 25% off food in the restaurant as long as it was charged to the room. Vallet parking was $36 but I parked in a structure directly across the street for $28.
Se San Diego looks like a brand new luxury hotel with web site rates of $229/night. Amenities: Boutique Hotel, Smoke Free Rooms, Pool(s), Restaurants(s), fitness center, business center & SPA. I quessed this was the Se because the only other 4.5* hotel listed on HOTWIRE was the Andaz (Ivy) which did not list a spa. The $119 rate is great as I am staying tomorrow night. Used the above HOTWIRE link to book.
First bid of $48 accepted. Only staying one night. I expected to get Crowne Plaza or Radisson as I had not seen anyone get Marriott LAX for a while. Used above PRICELINE link to bid.
First bid accepted at $79 for two nights, total charges $191.32. I have stayed at Parc 55 before and like this property. Used the above PRICELINE link.
Accepted $42 on first bid. What I expected after reviewing this board.
Used above PRICELINE link.
Hotwire shows non-smoking, continental breakfast & internet. Trip Advisor rating 4 out of 5. I could not find any 2 1/2 * listed for this area. Maybe I should try Japantown area?
I decided to bid on PRICELINE and used the above link. I am now only staying two nights 6/12 and 6/13/09. I got the 4* Westin Seattle Downtown Pike Place for $95 per night plus taxes & fees of $37.24 for a total of $227.24. I first bid $85, then bid $92 and finally $95 which was accepted. I am happy with this location and I am not taking a car so I will not have to pay for parking. I appreciate all the help I get from this Board. Thanks to all the posters.
I believe the Nike Women's Marathon takes place in San Francisco on 10/19/2008 and this event is attended by thousands of women from around the country. I have been in San Francisco on this week-end the past two years and the event planners reserve so many hotels it is hard to get a room at a good rate. I don't know if this effects the dates you want.
The amenities listed for the Sheraton (Greater Downtown) Denver are: fitness center, restaurants, laundry facilities, pools, business center, internet & GOLF nearby. I believe none of the other 3 1/2* Denver hotels list golf nearby. This is a great location near the 16th Street pedestrian mall & the convention center.
I originally bid on Pric.eline for a 4* downtown Denver hotel with no luck going from $69 up to $95 with free bids. So I went to HOTWIRE and they listed the Sheraton (formerly the Adam's Mark) for $69 per night. I knew it was the Sheraton as the amenties listed golf nearby. Best price for this hotel on their web site is $179 per night.
First bid of $100 accepted for a 4* downtown at the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter. Staying one night on 7/9/2008. Price listed on Hilton & other web sites at $269 for same night.
Used above PRICELINE link.
Total price $120.99. Happy with selection.
Originally bid for a Resort in all desert areas up to $82. Rebid for a 3* in Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells and $75 offer accepted. Would have preferred Embassy Suites in Palm Desert but La Quinta OK. Includes breakfast and I don't believe there is a resort fee add on. Price $75 + tax & fee $16.72.
There was a 4* listed at Palm Springs Airport but system did not have a place to bid on a 4*.
Yes, I have a back up to stay at Parc 55. When I checked Quickbook the Argent was no longer showing up at the rate you got. Thank you for all your help. Hopefully I will have better luck next time.
I tried again for a 4* in both USW & USE & Boutique going up to $170 with no luck. Changed to 3* in same areas & bid $150 but still rejected. I thought I might get 3* Marriott Courtyard downtown as it showed up on lastminute.com for $199. Can I rebid in 24 hours or should I just give up because all rooms are booked?
I am new at this. I bid USW $88 & rejected. Added USE & re-bid $96 & rejected. Added Boutique & re-bid $105 & rejected. I wanted to get Parc 55 or Marriott. I think there is a marthon going on that week-end. Should I go to Hotwire or wait & start over? I am willing to go to $125.
4* Baltimore (Downtown) Renaissance Harborplace Hotel
in Priceline Hotels - Maryland
Posted
It would appear from this board there only two 4* hotels in the Downtown area, the Monaco and Renaissance. I started my bid at $75 and added two other areas at $85 and was accepted at $95. Had bid same amounts on 8/18/13 and was denied. I am happy with my win. Used the above PRICELINE link to bid.
