I'm officially a new forum member, but I've been using BetterBidding for a few years now. I booked a hotel in Chicago for a wedding way back in January for a wedding via a Hotwire Hot rate which I've done many times before without issue. My mom just had a heart attack and is set to have open heart surgery tomorrow so it's extremely unlikely I'll be able to make my trip next weekend. Does anyone have any experience with working with Hotwire? Is there any way I'd be able to cancel or get a voucher for future use or am I essentially stuck on losing $500+ for the rooms?
I know their site says no cancellations and I wouldn't have cancelled if not for this extreme circumstance. I'm just looking for any advice or experiences prior to calling them to try to
