  1. Thank you thereuare! I will look into if the Grande Villas suits me. I know Hyatt Place would.
  2. 3.5 star Disney Area - Lake Buena Vista Rated 8.0 out of 10 (or higher) Dates: 2-21 to 2-24 $76 per night Pets Allowed Outdoor Swimming Pool Free Parking Restaurant Free Internet available Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center
  3. Someone on disboards suggested that the high recovery tax fee on Hotwire was all about dining being added. "Last year around this time there were a few Disney resorts on Cheaptickets and Expedia that were offering meals included and charging for the dining plan in the taxes and fees. You did not need park tickets to get this. After tinkering with this reservation I think it might be the same offer."
  4. Wow - what timing! I didn't see that earlier, PE must have listed it later today so thank you! I booked it through your link for a grand total of 410. I think Coronado was a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for 99 a night for a total of 365 (taxes were about 25 less so maybe not Coronado?) but didn't want to risk it. Thank you again!!!!
  5. Yes, that is the same listing though since I posted it dropped to 103 from 104. I thought is was probably Coronado Springs too and is why I wanted to double check here. I have an offsite hotel for a good rate and was seeing if a deal would come up on Disney property to beat my hotel reservation plus rental car price (I wouldn't need a rental car if staying onsite at WDW) - 103 for a moderate is attractive but not with such an inflated tax fee. I know, I know, I know that getting a moderate at that price is next to impossible but I still read about it happening and just thought I'd try. Coronado Springs is going through alot of construction and so that is why it is probably a hotdeal. Thank you for your response and help.
  6. I should have clicked on book it before I posted - I just did that and hotwire plus vendor added on $344 in tax recovery charges and fees, making the total not just 312 plus around 15% in taxes but much more! Total would be 656.59. Curious what vendor would charge such a high fee like that? Disney?
  7. 3.5 stars Lake Buena Vista Bonnet Creek Oct 26th to 29th 2018 $104 per night Amenities Airport shuttle Business center Fitness center Pool(s) Resort Restaurant(s) Smoke-free rooms
  8. I was looking for a good deal for a Disney moderate or deluxe property but I don't think I want to reserve this PE deal because if it is CBR it looks like the area and room would be south trinidad/pirate rooms and the pirate rooms don't appeal to me. If it was another section of CBR I would probably go for it. I have a Disney Springs property booked that I like a little better than the pirate rooms at CBR (going from just photos as haven't been to either one). I do hear of killer deals for WDW resorts so I will probably keep looking but if one doesn't come up, I'll stick with the DS hotel. Thank you again!
  9. Thank you. I thought it might be Caribbean Beach Resort. Any reason why you ruled that out? CSR is more appealing to me so that would be better.
  10. Star rating 3.5 stars Dates: June 12th to 18th Where: Orlando/ WDW Bonnet Creek Price per night: 116 Amenities: Free InternetRestaurantSwimming Pool No resort fee
  11. Dates: 02/02 to 02/05 rating: 2 star Area: West Anaheim California Adventure Park Price: $54 per night FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Smoke-free rooms, Pool(s), Internet access
  12. I booked with your HOTWIRE link and got the Travelodge! I stayed there before and it isn't so bad and I don't need a car. Thanks!
  13. I found really cheap flights for a different weekend so changed my hotel search. I am fairly sure the below hotel is the Travelodge near the Convention center but just want to double check. 2star Anaheim Convention Area 11/16 to 11/20 41/night for 2 FULL AMENITIES: Free breakfast, Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Pool(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access
  14. Thanks for the info! It is a Disney run weekend and there is a convention going on that weekend. Plus it is the first weekend Disneyland has it's Christmas parade and Fireworks going on. I am seriously thinking of changing when I go but this weekend works best with my work schedule. I am trying to go as cheap as I can and didn't want to rent a car or pay for parking so I'll see if the express hotel you suggested is near the ART.
  15. I think the original listing is gone now since that was a 2.5 star hotel and what there is now is just a 2 star. so I'll start over. 2 stars Disney - Anaheim Convention Center area 11/9 to 11/13 $73/night FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free breakfast, Free Internet, Indoor pool(s), Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby EDIT: sorry, I think I must have messed up the first time - I think it was supposed to be a 2 star not 2.5 star. I have been going back and forth between various listings and dates and staring at the computer screen for way too long.
  16. Sorry, I went through a different path to get to the deals (still through betterbidding). Here are the FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free breakfast, Free Internet, Indoor pool(s), Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby searched for 2 adults When clicking through, booking page said the last person got the Anaheim Express Inn.

  18. A general question I have for booking Hotwire Hot Deals and Priceline Express is how far out is the best time to book one for Anaheim/Disneyland? Or is there no best time?
  19. I just used your PRICELINE link for the 3.5 star PRICELINE EXPRESS hotel above and booked the Marriott Suites. There are 4 of us and I think this hotel will work for us even if they have just 1 bed because all the rooms have a pull out sofa double bed. We usually stay closer and walk to the parks so this will be a change up for us. I forgot to use the 5% off code! Thanks for your help!
  20. I was about to book the 3 star, hotwire deal but then saw some priceline express deals that i hadn't seen before. 9/29-10/2 3.5 stars Disneyland - Convention Center Zone Rated 8.0 out of 10 (or higher) Pets Allowed Business Center Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities $ 55 per night 9/29 -10/2 2.5 stars Disneyland zone Free Internet Free Breakfast Indoor or Outdoor Pool No Smoking Rooms/Facilities $ 77 per night Do priceline extress hotels usually only give you a single bed or is there a good chance of getting 2 beds? I thought I had seen some express deals that let you choose but didn't see that with these.
  21. Thanks for the info on how the resort fees with hotwire deals work. I decided not to go with that one because of the resort fees on top of the listed price. How about these 2? Is the first the Clarion? The first is 3 stars 9/29-10/02 $65 Disneyland Convention Center FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Resort, Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Accessible parking The second 2.5 stars same dates 9/29-10/02 $66 Disneyland Convention Center area FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free breakfast, Free Internet, Pool(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby
  22. I am still poking around and saw this Hotwire deal 3.5 stars Disneyland Convention Center Area same dates of 9/29 to 10/02. $70 for 2 queen beds Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking Just saw that there is a 14.95 resort fee. Does this mean that will be added to the 70 or does the 70 include that fee? What do think this is? On the hotwire site it said that someone just booked and got the Red Lion (not sure what that means for this offer). Do I need to start a new thread/topic? Thanks!
  23. Thank you! I did book America's Best Value through Priceline a few months ago but cancelled it. It probably is that one. I will use your links.
  24. Wondering if this is Best Western Courtesy Inn? (I had booked this in the past and on their website there was a hint that I had already booked the hotel associated with this express deal, I didn't book it as a express deal before though, and I have booked and cancelled other hotels through Priceline too though) 2 stars Disneyland Zone in Anaheim Dates: 9/29 to 10/02 $68 for 1 queen bed Free Parking Free Internet Free Breakfast Indoor or Outdoor Pool No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Thank you
