Used the better bidding link for PRICELINE in upper corner to bid on a 3* hotel in fargo for 6/15/11. I had seen this hotel (using better bidding link) on HOTWIRE a few days back listed for $90, but when I went to book today, Hotwire, no longer had. So figured I'd take a shot on priceline. Selected only fargo and only 3* hotels and figured i'd go $5 under the HOTWIRE, price and the offer was accepted first try. Very happy.
Booked a room, using HOTWIRE link on better bidding site, at Country Inn and Suites for 4/14 - 4/15 for $83. Had icons for shuttle, fitness, pool, resturant and internet.
NOTE: hotwire, has previously listed a 3* hotel with the same icons and it's the Radisson. (much nicer hotel on west side of town) I'm surprised the Country Inn and Suites is now listed as a 3* hotel --- it is not! So, beware.....better bidders, the 3* in fargo may not be the radisson.
Used the HOTWIRE link on the Better Bidding site to book the Best Western East Towne Suites for 2/25/11. Hotwire lists as a 2.5* hotel, no smoking, workout room and pool. Booked for $68 total after taxes, etc.

Used Betterbidding PRICELINE link in upper right hand corner to book 2* fairfield inn south at $119 on night of 5/4/10. (there is a fairfield inn north also in bismarck, but it is not a nice as the one on the south side. The one on the south side was just remodeled in 2009) Started my bid at $45 and 2 1/2*, rejected. Raised to $50 and 2*, was rejected again and given "price chop" rate at Fairfield Inn and two other hotels. There is a big event in Bismarck that night so most hotels were full. The PRICELINE "price chop" rate was about $10 less than what I could book on Travelocity.

Used the PRICELINE link at the top of the better bidding website to book a 3* hotel in Fargo, ND. Started off bidding $60 for a 3* hotel in nearby Moorhead, MN. Got nothing. So added $10 and Fargo, ND as a search area. Won the Holiday Inn in Fargo. Staying one night 2/16-2/17. Think this is a pretty good rate, since last time I was in town, the best deal I could get on this hotel was $77 through PRICELINE.

Got a 3* hotel (Holiday Inn Fargo) for one night stay 2/2/10-2/3/10 in Fargo ND for $77.
First bid $60 and then got a message saying if I added $17 it would allow me to re-bid without adding another area or lower star level. I tried to rebid at only $70 and it would not allow that, so rebid at $77 and got room at Holiday Inn Fargo.

Purchased a "stay & drive" pkg off HOTWIRE for $90 ttl. Stayed only one night (nov. 2) and drove only one day, but think it was a good deal. Raddisson hotel near airport is quite nice. Sleep number beds, quiet, luxurious. Def. would stay there again. Car was from Hertz, nice toyota, clean, no hassels picking up or dropping off.
