  1. I'm very surprised by this win.  This was the hotel I really wanted but I figured I would get the Westin Jersey City instead because the Hyatt did not show up when Priceline listed the hotels in the buy it now search. There was a 4 star showing up as a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for $129 so I knew I didn't have to bid higher than that.

Started bidding at $100 for jersey city. No other zone listed had more than a 3.5 star hotel in it which made them all rebid zones. Added 1 zone and $5 to each bid until I reached $120. My plan was to add only $3 per bid for the remaining 2 zones.

I used the the better bidding PRICELINE link.

  2. Saw that there was a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for $61 and Hotwire also had it for $61.  i knew these offers were for this Wyndham because it's the only 3.5 star hotel with a pool in Gettysburg.

Priceline only has 4 zones for Gettysburg.  Only Gettysburg had a 3.5 star hotel.  The other 3 zones highest star rating was 2.5 stars.

Started at $51 for Gettysbug 3.5 stars.  Priceline came back with an offer to book the hotel now for $64.  I went back to rebid Chambersburg for $54 then Gettysburg West for $57.  Bid was accepted.  I used the betterbidding PRICELINE link.

    Room subtotal:$57.00

    Taxes & fees:$11.89

  3. Was originally trying to get the 3.5 star Key Bridge Marriott in Arlington for under $60 but gave up after a couple of days of bidding up to $68 using 7 rebid zones in the DC area.  Express Deals kept coming up with a 3.5 star hotel in Farifax for $60.  Looked at past wins on your site and figured out it was most likely this Hyatt.  Started bid at $50 for Arlington, $51 with Farifax, $52 with Alexandria West, $54 for the Hyatt Regency Fairfax was accepted with Camp Springs added to the bidding areas.  Used the betterbidding.com PRICELINE link.  My only concern is being able to get parking in the Vienna/Farifax Metro station for sight seeing in Washington DC.  I see the hotel has a shuttle that can take us to the station just in case.  Thanks again Betterbidding.com.

  6. Have been bidding on this area for over 1 week. Wanted 3* hotel in Disneyland area. Used Seal Beach, Anaheim Hills, and Laguna Beach for rebids. Also looked at HOTWIRE prior to bidding and saw what looks like the 3* Holiday Inn North for between $55 and $59 so I never wanted to bid more than $54 on PRICELINE. Not happy about $12 resort fee but the $48 if pretty good.

Started today at $46 and received the option to add $13. Declined this and rebid with Seal Beach for $48 and won.

Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $48.00

    Subtotal: $288.00

    Thanks betterbidding.com for the hints.

  7. Over several days this kept coming up for $69. Checked HOTWIRE Packages to find out that this was the Embassy prior to purchasing. Tripadvisor also gives this 4*'s.

Really wanted to stay downtown San Fran but the parking fees I saw others post and on hotel websites were almost as much as this hotel and kept me in budget. Tried bidding on PRICELINE a few times but this seemed like a bargain.
