I scored a nice one. The Comfort Inn near the airport. My first bid was 29.00. They came back and wanted me to increase it to 36.00. I said no and added the Pawtucket area and bid $31.00 and won. With taxes and everything the total cost was 42.31. This is the second time I've done this. I did it a couple of weeks ago for the same price. It's a nice place too.

I just joined the forum here, but I've been using Priceline for the last six months and if I'm having trouble getting a room at a lowball price, I'll usually check HOTWIRE to see what their prices are. I checked your date and there's a four star in Cambridge on that night for $160; above your price, but it's possible that room could be had for your price (or less) if that hotel is available on Priceline. Just a thought and good luck.
