  1. I did find the apply coupon, thanks Roadguy. I ended up booking through the PRICELINE link. It was $209 with an additional 5% BB coupon off. I did notice that the taxes were lower, as Roadguy mentioned, compared to Hotwire. However, I also noticed that the resort fee (collected by the hotel) was higher on PL versus Hotwire. I don't know if PL just misquoted the resort fee hotel, but it was suspicious that although taxes are lower, resort fees are higher. As a side note, I needed four rooms total. The PRICELINE link allows you to "add a room" after the booking. I tried adding 3 additional rooms. However, it does not apply the additional 5% BB coupon discount, so instead I booked three more separate transactions.

  3. Thanks. Just booked through the BiddingHelper.com link. Price won was $215 / night for the Palazzo.
  4. Any help on identification of the following hotels would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Las Vegas Strip North, 2/3-2/5, 5 Stars Price: $137 Free parking, Free Internet, Spa services, Resort, Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Kitchenette Price: $215 Free parking, Resort, Suite, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower Price: $216 Free parking, Resort, Suite, Casino, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Spa services, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower I should conclude that my family would like to stay at Venetian / Palazzo. If there is a cheaper rate somewhere else, I would appreciate if you could let me know where. I tried looking through the bidding helper priceline express options, but I didn't see anything. Thanks.
  5. Just booked two rooms with your PRICELINE link via PRICELINE EXPRESS. The rate is $157 / night. As always, thanks much! You guys rock.
  6. Hi. Sorry for the delay. I got sick. I still want to book for 11/4 - 11/6. I want to get two rooms at the Vdara. I still see the Hotwire Easy View rate for Vdara, and I think it got cheaper. It's now listed as $161 for me. However, when I click through to book it, the easy view takes me to the Hotwire site, and the rate shown on Hotwire is $175. Basically, the Easy View tab prices are not accurate. I'm not sure why. I think I found a cheaper alternative, but could someone confirm? When I click on the Priceline Express tab for 5 star Las Vegas Strip South, I see an option for $157. Here are the listed amenities. Pets Allowed Business Center Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Fitness Center No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Since it doesn't list a casino, I think it has to be either Four Seasons or Vdara, based on the betterbidding Priceline hotel lists. I can't tell if it's Four Seasons or Vdara though. Is this a cheaper alternative for the Vdara? Thanks.
  7. Hi. I am trying to stay around Center Strip, 5*, for under $200 / night. This is before taxes, fees, and resort fee. I always use BiddingHelper.com. I usually only click on the easy view. This time I happened to compare the hotwire view with the hotwire easy view. I'm surprised that I see different rates, when I am searching at the exact same time. I would send you screenshots, but I don't see where I can upload them. Please see the imgur links. <links removed> I would prefer to stay around Vdara since I have friends staying there as well. Thanks.
  8. I would like Vdara at $172, but when I look at HOTWIRE through the BiddingHelper.com link the cheapest 5* rate is now $184. Any reason why the rate is different in east view? I don't mind booking through Priceline, but is it possible to get Vdara cheaper through Priceline? Thanks.
  9. Hi. I'm looking at a 5* hotel in Center Strip for 11/4-11/6. Can someone help me figure out which hotels are which? Here are the options on Hotwire Easy View $172 FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Condo, Pet friendly, Suite, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Kitchenette, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower $240 FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Resort, Casino, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Golf nearby, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower $186 FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free Internet, Suite, Pet friendly, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Spa services, Kitchenette $251 FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Boutique hotel, Casino, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access I don't mind booking through PRICELINE either, if there are some good options. I also had two questions. 1. I was also looking at Biddinghelper's Hotwire view, and it was showing four different rates for the 5* center strip. The rates are $184, $242, $184, and $254 respectively. Is there a reason that Biddinghelper's Hotwire view versus Hotwire Easy View are different? 2. Also, is there a cheaper day of the week to book? For instance are Tuesdays cheaper than Mondays? Thanks.
  10. Hey. Yes, we ended up not needing the other three rooms. I essentially told that part of the group to book their own rooms. Thanks again for all the help. We just came back from Vegas and had a blast. Thinking of going back again November 4 weekend, but I'll open a new thread for suggestions on those dates.
  11. Hi. Thanks for the detailed explanation. It did make sense. In the end, we ended up booking 3 rooms through PRICELINE EXPRESS, and the other three "regular rate" rooms we did not book. I don't know how to close the ticket, but I am reporting the win. Thanks a lot again. I always use Betterbidding.
  12. Hi. Thanks for the helpful information. I still have the same budget for this stay. I want to stay under $100 for each room / night (pre taxes and resort fee). All six rooms will actually be double occupancy. There are three husband wife combinations, which want a single king bed. There are six other individuals who are not married and want their own bed for the other three rooms. I think my best bet is to book three rooms via your PRICELINE EXPRESS link above for either Monte Carlo or Treasure Island. This would be for the three married couples. For the other three rooms where I need two beds, I think I have to just book it directly on MAPS and HOTELS.com to select my bed preference.
  13. Sorry, I probably should have been more specific. I need six rooms total. Three rooms with a king bed and three rooms with two beds each. I assume that when I book through HOTWIRE or your PRICELINE links (great finds, by the way) that it is for the cheapest room, which is typically one king bed. Is it possible to book a room with two beds? Would I just book directly on the respective hotel's website and select two beds as the option? Thanks.
  14. Hi. Thanks for your help. I will let the board know after I book. I have a question. I want to book six rooms, all at the same property. Is there a benefit or difference to do six separate transactions? Or should I put it all in one transaction? Thanks.
  15. Sorry. I just posted on that other thread. I'm not entirely sure how to close the thread.
