I'm looking at Mood44 hotel on Expedia. It doesn't show the name when I search on Hotwire.

I went ot maps and hotels.com and put in rome, italy for April 20-22, i looked under the hotwire tab and nothing showed up. I haven't used mapsandhotels.com before but you're saying i can find the hotel that i saw on Expedia on mapsandhotels.com as well?

It's Nikko Hotel. Total price is $238 tax included. This is not really much better than booking to Expedia where the total price owuld be $246 tax include. It's only $8 savings i don't think it's worth it to book through Hotwire.

Thanks. Just checked The Westbury Mayfair is available for about $611 tax included for 3nights vs HOTWIRE of $586 for 3 nights. It's only $25 cheaper so it's really a good deal to trade off for using hotwire. Thank you for your help still!

I ended up using the Priceline for 4* hotel in Louvre - Opera East. I got a Holiday Inn Paris -Opera Grand Blvd for $85 a night. With taxes and fees, it comes out at $198 for two nights. This is not a deal since at the same time Hotels.com has this same hotel for the same dates for $191 taxes and fee included. Still, thanks for the help from this board.

Thank you. It seems like the HOTWIRE rates are slightly cheaper and not a lot of discount. I can get the hotel regina for about $260 a night tax included vs. Hotwire of $230 a night tax included savings of a bout $30 a night. For Hotel Duminy Vendome, Hotwire rate is $135 a night with tax vs $155 a night with tax - savings of $20 a night. Thank again for your help. I'll report back what I ended up deciding.

Ended up using Priceline.Express 4*, Convention Center - Old Montreal - Latin Quarter for 3 nights from 5/23 -5/26 for $138 a night + tax. Using some coupon code to get a bit more discount, the total ended up being about $155 a night tax included. This is compared to $266 tax included a night quoted on Hotels.com - 42% off from Hotels.com. I stayed at Le Westin before and it's a very solid 4* hotel, great services and great room!
