  1. If you look on PRICELINE now, the Cosmopolitan has been downgraded to 3 stars. The reviews on priceline are 6.1/10. I would be tempted to call and complain and ask for my money back. It doesn't sound like a great hotel.
  2. Got the Hilton San Francisco for $70! Tried $65 and it asked for a re-bid of $17. I added Civic Center and put $70 and got this property. Excited...stayed at Hotel Nikko last time so happy to try something new. As always, used the PRICELINE link. Thanks for the valuable information! Jeff
  3. Got the Manchester Grand Hyatt for $68. Check in Saturday the 26th and check out Monday the 28th. Good deal! Used the link for PRICELINE. Thanks!
  4. Wahoo....good price for a nice hotel. Used the PRICELINE link, of course!
  5. Yay! 2 more nights at the Westin in Seattle for $75. I used the link here for PRICELINE.
  6. Yay! Got the Westin Downtown Seattle on May 30th for $75. Looks like a great hotel!!! I used the PRICELINE link :)
  7. Got the Grand Hyatt Tampa for $46 a night...great hotel! Used the PRICELINE link on thereuare's posts. Thanks!
  8. Four nights at the Residence Inn Boca Raton (Boca Raton - North Deerfield Beach) beginning 4/15 and checking out 4/19. $50 a night! Again, I used thereuare's link at the bottom of his messages. I booked these for a friend traveling around Florida doing interviews for her doctoral dissertation. This is why I'm posting so much :) The only location I wasn't successful with was Panama City on 4/14. I ended up getting a Sleep Inn for $63 (AAA rate) through their website. Thanks!
  9. Residence Inn Tallahassee South (by the Capitol) for $49 on the night of April 13th. I used the link posted in thereuare's posts. Thanks again!
  10. I got the Crowne Plaza Jacksonville the night of April 12th for $45. I used thereuare's link!
  11. Got the Sheraton Downtown Orlando for $46 on 4/5 and 4/6. Was hoping for the Crowne Plaza which is a much nicer hotel but this should be fine. I used the link at the bottom of theruare's messages. Thanks!
  12. I live near this hotel... it's nice and I think you'll like it. Lots of hotels in this area so just walk over and use someone else's pool :) There's a Bob Evans restaurant nearby as well as a Wendy's.
  13. Night and day between the JW Marriott and the Hilton. The Hilton (in my opinion) barely qualifies as a resort and is the worst on the list but for $60 it's a good deal. Very comfy beds!
  14. Interesting! I recently stayed at the Hilton WDW and won it trying to find a "resort" in the WDW area. It's a nice enough hotel but it surely does not qualify as a resort or remotely compete with the likes of the Gaylord Palms, Omni, JW Marriott, and a couple others in the area. Maybe Priceline has it under both 4* and resort or (hopefully) they removed it from resort. With the Hilton as a "resort" I am more hesitant to use priceline as I would prefer not to stay there again. It was nice but there was little that was resort-like about it. Enjoy your stay! Jeff
  15. Bid $60 and rejected, then $63. Said I could add $17 to my re-bid and that it would probably be accepted. Instead, I went to another computer and bid at $65 and got the Westin Mission Hills Resort for $65 a night (plus $20 resort fee a night when I arrive). Kind of surprised as the hotel list for California lists this property as 4* so I was kind of disappointed I didn't get one of the other resorts listed. Would have loved the Hyatt Grand Champion! Anyway, this is a great price as it is $139 a night on their website. Thanks!
  16. Failed at $80 and then re-bid at $93 (the usual price it seems to go for) and was accepted. Check in this Sunday (August 5th) for one night only. I love this hotel! Jeff
  17. Super cheap rate on a nice hotel in Jacksoinville. Check in 7/7/07 and check out on 7/8/07 (one night)
  18. Got the Omni Champion's gate (WDW - Resort) for $93 this Sunday.
  19. Got the Peabody in Orlando for $75 for this Saturday night. Bid was taken on the first try. Jeff
  20. Thank you so much for posting this! I just got the same deal ($93) for 4/21. :)
  21. I got the same price for 9/5 and 9/6. Yay! Now.. how to figure out how to pay for parking...$30 a night!?!? I'm flying in to Providence so not renting a car isn't really an option. Jeff
