We are a family of 5 with 2 pre teens and one toddler. Do most hotels require you to book 2 rooms because of our quantity even though the youngest is a toddler? I am looking for a 2 day stay in San Francisco close to trolleys and attractions, we really don't want to drive around. What area do you suggest?

We are a family of five with a 13, 10 and 2. We are looking for a 2 day stay in San Francisco. We would like a location that has a pool and is close to trolleys and other attractions.
