Bid daily in $2 increments. At $65(55 + 10 bonus) was asked to increase bid by $11. An immediate $2 increase was rejected with message that increase had to be 11. Waited additional day and got $57 + $10 bonus.

I have the $74 rate for the same place(Hyatt). See my post elsewhere on how to obtain it. The $10 bonus money doesn't seem to be going away either so that gives me some flexibility to wait. I am willing to switch to a different hotel if necessary but most of the recent wins have been at the Hyatt. I have used your link for my bidding.

I am trying to win the Hyatt for 3/12-3/17. Retail rates are 139-139-149-149-139 for those nights. I have bid up to 61 + 10 bonus cash with no success. I(actually my wife who will be joining me) have already won this hotel for 39+10 for 3/17-3/21 when the retail rate was 129. Bid more than 61 now or wait? I have a cancelable reservation for 74 as a fallback.

I have found that in addition to usually being able to identify the hotel, the telephone operators are willing to give it to you before you commit. Since the rates are 100% refundable if you cancel more than 3 days out. You can always book and cancel as a last resort.

I hope to "win" this hotel when I go in March for a week.. Retail rates range from 129-149 per night. The retain rate for this win in Jan is currently 99. How much should I bid? Can I use your link when I have a $10 a night bonus cash. And how to I maximize my free rebids with this bonus? Do I lose it when I close my browser to start a new free rebid? Thanks

Do hotel prices go up as you approach the date similar to Airlines or do prices depend solely on availability. I wish to book as late as possible in Priceline due to family circumstances knowing Priceline is 100% unrefundable. Retail prices are so much more. Also do Priceline accept bookings as long as 10 days. I don't see any that long posted. Thanks.

I found a likely match in the Hotwire "Blue Section". Its likely the Rodeway and for $199 a nite!! LOL. Have you found the "Blue Section" a reliable way to identify hotels?

The hotwire amenities are casino, shuttle, fitness, pool, restaurant, golf, tennis and Spa. Would prefer Priceline but if this is it, it would suffice. Previous postings include spa and children activites, but there are no current listings that include this. So guess there is no way to get the Sierra for sure.

Got the Sheraton from 11/20-30 for 59 expecting it to be the Windham due to the package description. It also has free internet and shuttle to the T. Think it is now 79.

I was willing to take any as long as it was close to the convention center, but I was able to split someone else's room as it turned out. The date was only for the posted date(3/15).

i have the same question, but it looks likely its the Hilton Garden inn which is rated 2.5 stars on priceline
