Began at $60 and this was my 2nd bid. Was hoping for the Westin or Omni due to location, but happy with this rate for a Sat. night only 5 days in advance.

By breaking my 3 day trip into 2 bids, I was able to get the Red Lion Pike Place for $90 for 7/28 and 7/29 and the Holiday Inn by the Space Needle for $160 on 7/27

...sorry, didn't realize the topic was cropped. I unsuccessfully bid for a 4* downtown up to $120 and a 3* downtown (dates above) up to $95. No luck so far in Seattle after two consecutive days of bidding/rebidding. Looks like prices downtown are a bit higher in the summer. Are the 3*s downtown located conveniently (in general)? Thanks.

Just booked this - supposed to be a nice hotel. Forgot to mention that this is downtown!
