Why does the title say $75?

Go through and check the zones one by one to see witch ones have 5* hotels in them. Make sure you only have one zone checked at a time and write them down. You can bid all day long for 5* in Vegas!

The suites are about a block from the Hyatt Gainey Ranch and no where as nice.

Most of the time you can find free street parking on the side of the hotel.

One other thing to think about is that if you find something on the trolly line it will take you right to the convention center. So one other option if the hotel does not have a shuttle.

$101 is a very good deal for the Hyatt GR.

You joined Better Bidding almost a year ago, so I would not call yourself new to this board? You should have known from the get go that there was a chance that you could have got a room with one queen or king bed! It does not sound like you would have been happy with this win even if the hotel did not allow animals, as you were in need of a room with two beds which is never guaranteed. I don't care how you book, or where you stay, there is always a chance that you will get a room that has housed a pet and not even know it. I think a better title for this thread would have been I used the hotel list from BB and got a hotel I didn't expect or want. I have used PL over 100 times and only about 2-3 times have I got a hotel that I was not expecting. Each of those hotels were more then acceptable but I watch the board and do my research.

I called and the rep said the Studio's all have a King bed and a pull out.

You have about a 33% chance of getting the Westin as there are about 3 hotels that come up for this area at the resort level. You can walk to the Westin from all of the resorts that come up in this zone.

Radisson Fort McDowell Resort & Casino is the only Casino in this zone.

I would try to add two nights to your Hyatt stay and keep your SPG points. Your only talking about $60 and you keep almost 10,000 SPG points. Plus the pool is much better at the Hyatt. PRICELINE has an add a night option on their site.

I think you are staying at the Hyatt and its not going to be cheap for a car service. The people you saw getting the real cheap rates had 7 plus day rentals more then likely. Keep watching HOTWIRE every day to see if rates go down. You can usually beat them with PRICELINE by at least $5 per day.

I don't think I would want to stay at the Trump on NYE. It won't be easy getting a cab back to the hotel and I would not walk it. Also if you have never been to Vegas for NYE You might want to stay around your hotel on the big night. The hotels will not let you in after midnight unless you have a room key for their hotel. Also the Strip is not a very safe place to be when every one starts pushing their way out of that mess at 12 am. I am not a small guy and I was a little scare that some one was going to be hurt or killed two years ago. I am not trying to scare any one, just trying to help people avoid some of the mistakes we made.

Hyatt gives full benefits on all stays including Priceline and Hotwire.

My guess would be Signature at MGM Grand.

Can you please post the dates for this stay?

There is always the chance you will get the Double Tree. It is an easy walk right accross the river.
