  2. Yes, tried that. adding night would cost more than $150. (original paid $62 per nights, 6 nights). didn't find any interesting deal yet. If I'll wait for "last minute" would it be reasonable to assume that rates will be lower?
  3. Hi, Need help to identify this one: $87 per night (before any fees and taxes). Lancaster Southeast - 3 stars hotel 04/03/2015 - 04/05/2015 - 2 nights. 2 adults, 2 kids (3 and 6 y/o). 85% recommended 4/5 TripAdvisor FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free breakfast, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Suite, Fitness center, Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access. 4. Hello, I have closed a deal on Hotwire for 6 total of nights. Dates: 03/27/2015 - 04/02/2015, 2 adults and 2 kids (3 and 6 yo). Hotel: Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando I paid about $62 per night (including all fees and taxes). Now, I'm trying to add one night before, for 03/26/2015, but I get high rate, something about $140. Can you help me to understand how can I find a better option? I prefer to have another night in this hotel, with the kids it would be more convenient.
  5. Hi, Yes, this was the last open leg. I want to thank for all your help and helpful advice. I will surely use this great website in future trip (hopefully to come).
  6. Rate.Drop - great, thanks. Car - Yes, $320 all inclusive, and it's SUV. Will stick with that. Thanks.
  7. Great, I'll do some learning before in order to seek adjacent parking garage. The hotel you mentioned meets all our needs and more. Looks good, great reviews and centrally located. The price is an issue, so I will keep looking on good deals for the next 3-4 days. More than doubled our budget. It's funny because I finally paid in NYC 40% more than my original budget and 20% in Orlando and I still insist to optimize this "one night stand". Btw, did have a chance to look at my $82 daily rental car rate?
  8. Hi, After considering all aspects, our decision is too stick with the current plan. We will have to park our rental car downtown. Is there any option to find a parking lot with a reasonable daily parking price.? Your offer looks quite good, but we still want to look for more options in downtwon.
  9. Okay, thanks. As for the rental car. Ford Escape or similar. Pick up at Dulles airport Drop off in Manhattan (Dollar company). 4 days. 4/2/2015 - 4/6/2015. Total cost of $330.
  10. $209 per night before taxes and resort fees. Thanks for all your help.
  11. Wow, thank you so much for your help and advise. I'm really thankful for your willingness to help and your patience. Our visit in D.C is too short, I wish I had more time, and I don't want to spent more time on logistics. It will cost me, I know. Is it possible to find a place to stay in downtown, even 2-3* hotel, (because it's only one night), with an option to park a car? $82 for Ford Escape, was to lowest rate I found by far. Closed it with rentalcars.com, and the supplier is Dollar. Rentalcars.com charged me $82 per day and told me that Dollar will charge me locally in NYC when I return the car for an one way drop fee of $100. However, I checked with Dollar customer service, and I was told that there is no one way fee between D.C and NYC, so they won't charge me for additional $100. What do you think? I'm trying to hold my budget, I had some success with orlando hotel and car, but D.C and NYC will be more expensive then what I thought.
  12. My thoughts. Well, I guess the Park Central hotel would be great for us. I want to close a deal. Please help me find the relevant result again in Hot.wire.
  13. I'm willing to increase my budget to around $250 inclusive of taxes and fees. Is it possible to meet less expensive rates if we'll wait with closing a deal until we get closer to April?
  14. clarifications and more questions: "Why not take the Metro from the airport to Downtown... then start your rental at the end of your DC stay?" We're flying from Florida, after 10 days, I guess we will be with 2-3 suitcases + baby stroller and I remind you we're carrying 2 kids (2.5 and 6 y/o). Moreover, we have to leave D.C in the next day, I guess up to 3-4 P.M, so adding time to deal with renting a car, leaving the hotel with all the luggage will give us some hard times. Is taking the metro or even a Taxi from the airport would be convenient? "This would save you not only on the daily rental fee for the vehicle, but as well as any hotel parking charges." Daily charge is $82 - so the other alternative must be worthwhile. With your stay 3+ months away are you willing to pay $100+ at this time? What do you mean? If we'll wait, we might face less expensive rates? If so, is that works in general, like in NYC too? (we'll looking for 4 nights in NYC a week later on April 2015).
  15. 1. I rent it in at Dulles airport to get to D.C and than to move on to PA and to NYC finally. 2. I prefer not to increase my budget, but it depends if I get decent deal (wanted to check the Largo Upper Marlboro). If have no choice I'm willing to pay the above rates $100+-. Thanks
  16. Yes, sorry, April 5 to April 9. As mentioned earlier by AaronJB, it's MTC. With additional $27 resort fee. He said it might be Park Central hotel. Let me know if you can confirm that and maybe to suggest more options. Also in other central areas.
  17. Well, I'm not sure. We stay only for one night in D.C and we rent a car, so I have to park it anyway. I'm willing to pay, it's not have to be free parking, as long it has a parking lot. What are my other parking options? Can you check these ones for me: 3* Largo - Upper Marlboro area $76 85% recommended 3.5/5 TA rating. FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Pet friendly, Indoor pool(s), Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center 3* Dupont Circle - Embassy Row $117 90% recommended 4/5 TA rating. FULL AMENITIES: Pet friendly, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower 3* Dupont Circle - Embassy Row $119 85% recommended 4.5/5 TA rating. FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Roll-in shower 3.5* Dupont Circle - Embassy Row $123 90% recommended 4/5 TA rating. FULL AMENITIES: Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower
  18. Can you confirm this one is Park Central? For our dates: 04/05/2014 - 09/05/2014 (4 nights, 2 adults + 2 kids). 4* $210 ($412 +- regular price) FULL AMENITIES: Fitness center, Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom 85% recommended 4 out of 5 TripAdvisor rating.
  19. Can you help me find a hotel? 2 adults and 2 kids (3 and 6 y/o). one night, 04/02/2015 - 04/03/2015. We want quite central location in D.C, with free parking. We want a decent hotel, that will be nice to stay and use, mid-level, maybe 3.5-4*. around $60. Is that reasonable?
  20. First, I'm, using the BiddingHelper tool and the results are the same (FULL AMENITIES: Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Business center, Internet access, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility) Second, I follow your steps, I get the "See more" for amenities, and I see only "Internet Access" not "Hi-Speed Internet". I understand the limits of my low budget and I agree with you, I might increase my budget. Before deciding to increase budget, I want to ask if it's too much risky to bid on priceline, challenge my luck for these 3.5-4* hotels in a central location. We are 2 adults with 2 kids, and priceline guarantee only double occupancy. Also, can you suggest more hotels on these level (ROW NYC and and prices and Park Central) to expand the search to lower and upper areas in Manhattan?
  21. I checked your results, but non of what I get says: Hi-Speed Internet. Only says "Internet access". For the MTC 4* I get $210. For TS 3.5* I get $186. They are all great for me, but I still want to seek for less price. I would like to pay around $200 inclusive of all fees and taxes. Can you help? Thanks.
  22. Hi, We are 2 adults and 2 kids (3 and 6 y/o). Looking for hotel for 4 nights - 04/05/2015 - 09/04/2015. We're looking for something in Manhattan (Midtown, Times Square Theatre District, Empire state building, Hell's kitchen, Chelsea and maybe others, depends of location and deal). Budget around $200 per night, including all taxes and fees. We're looking for something basic plus, maybe more than that, decent, that looks good and feel nice. I saw here a post for ROW NYC, that kind of hotels would be great. Is that reasonable to ask for our budget? Thanks for your advise and help.
