Homestead Suites for dates 6/18 and 6/19 Monday and Tuesday.

Tried disneyland ** for $35 rejected. Increased to 37 rejected. Added Costa Mesa region and got Homestead Suites for $37. Used the SB link.

No luck even at $55.

I tried to book during the above period at the current rates posted between 45-55 but no luck. Is it too early to book for late June?

Could you please tell me which zone does Century City fall in?

Has anybody recently bid for hotels in Burbank-Universal-Glendale area? What are the prices for 3*. Is Glendale too far from Universal City?

I bid 2 rooms for 2 days at $44 for a 3* hotel on the strip. Price line stuck me with Sahara whose rack room rate for those days is $43. So instead of a discount for build your own price, here Priceline charged $1 premium. When i called they verified on Sahara website and said we can refund you $1 to match the rate. This is absolute cheating and breach of trust. So if i had even bid few more dollars they could stick me with some lower price hotel. I talked to the supervisor and they said they can't do anything with it. Their best offer would be to match the hotel price. I also requested that they can change it to Circus Circus whose rack room rates for those days is $49.50 but their attitude was rude and said they could do nothing about it. Thereuare, what's my recourse?

There shouldn't be any problem in getting Omni for your budget and on the date requested. Try bidding for the Downtown Harbor area and you should get it between $85-100.

What's the best time to book for Las Vegas trip 3/10/07 to 3/13/07 to get a good deal on strip hotels.

I booked for the labor day weekend 9/1-9/4. For re-bid add 4* in Mission Valley zone which does not have a 4* If still unsucessful then add Coastal Area 4* which is very expensive so in either case you will have the chance to get in Downtown San Diego. Cheers :)

:) I took all the clues here about bidding and was successful to get Omni San Diego for $97 through savingsbarn/PRICELINE link for 3 nights for peak holiday time. I urge other successful bidders to post their winning bids and show appreciation for this website which has been very informative.
