  1. Tough time of the year to get a deal in Pal Springs as its spring break for LA schools. I had been trying for a week or two, even going up to $150 for a resort. I was about to use the Pricebreaker deals I saw, which is a easy way to find good deals and know where you will be staying. I took one last chance at a Resort on PCLN after seeing the Hyatt pop up on HOTWIRE for $149 a night, it hadnt been there before on HOTWIRE-PCLN regular booking had it at $269 a night Big $130 and guess what I won! I might have been able to get cheaper but since I had bid up to $150 the day before and not won, happy with $130 and happy with Hyatt! Great hotel with tons to do for KIDS! :-) Used the PRICELINE link here to book so many thanks, the info here is always very helpful!

  4. Need to get the first 4 nights of my trip, looking to split between the Westin and the Sheraton! Got the Sheraton for $135 a night, its seems prices keep going up lately so thought it was time to lock in, If i booked a month ago I know I could have gotten for 110 to 120 since I saw on hotline for 129-139. Anyway so far two bids on Princewille 3.5 stars or higher First bid $135-rejected waited a day First bid $150-rejected I see on Hotwire for $210 a night so I think pricelines magic number will be 165 but will try $16o first :-) lol save every dollar i can thanks to this board, and it has changed the way I and many of my friends now travel! Four Star for under 100 lol
  5. Was Looking to stay at the Sheraton as its one of our favorites and cant wait to see the new renovations! Started off at $135 I should have went lower as my first Bid was accepted! 6. Hyatt Regency Newport Beach 4 star Newport - Huntington Beach 1107 Jamboree Road, Newport Beach, CA 92660 949-729-1234 hotel details | more photos | amenities Check-In: Sun, Aug 14, 2011 / After 04:00 PM Check-Out: Mon, Aug 15, 2011 / 12:00 PM Rooms: 1 room / 1 night $62/night 67% you saved Cant beat that for a 4 star hotel! Going to Crystal Cove for 3 nights so this is perfect launching pad, kids can swim as parents get groceries for the week. My kids love the shuffleboard here, as well as the ping pong! I love all the hot tubs! :-) great deal have won this hotel so many times I have lost track! Could have gotten it for $70 on hotwire! But my bid of $62 with taxes works out to $74 a even better deal! Be smart when bidding thats all I can say! thanks again this board is priceless!
  7. Ive won the Hyatt in Newport Beach so many times I cant remember! Its one of our favorite places for a quick cheap weekend get away! have never paid more then $100 a night and have won in the range of $60-80 most weekends! Hotel is nice but yes there is a big difference in room and locations, but they have almost always been willing to move us, since we are a family of 4 and almost always want to be close to the Nice pool which is over near the golf course. Resort has a ton to do shuffleboard, ping pong, you can rent bikes, the bay is a quick walk on the backside of the property where there is a water park in the summer. Balboa island is a quick bike ride or walk! Crystal Cove one of the best beaches in California is 5-10 min car ride away! you can beat this place, Im actually contemplating bidding for a night tomorrow, since we go to Crystal Cove Cottages often this is a great place to stay the night before you check in so you can get to the beach early! Also food on site always been good, they have remodeled so place feels newer and hipper! Cant go wrong! Must say I hate how PRICELINE switched the zone as well since I like to win the Hyatt in HB as well, but yes the only real way to get that is now through HOTWIRE!! and anything around $120 is a great deal for that place!!! hope that helps any questions let me know, I owe this zone on PCLN lol
